Eraserhead and LYNCH (one) at the AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center in Silver Spring, Maryland

The East Coast arm of the American Film Institute, AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center in Silver Spring, Maryland will be running a new 35 mm print of ERASERHEAD, including a couple of Midnight Shows.

On the last show on Saturday, May 16, one lucky ticket holder will have the chance to win a (1) ERASERHEAD 2000 Limited Edition Collector's DVD Box Set, autographed by David Lynch! On the Air and Hotel Room on DVD

As mentioned in the Discussion Board, I can confirm that discussions are going on within CBS DVD to bring both On the Air and Hotel Room to DVD. No definitive plans yet, but discussions are going on.

Lynch in Paris Promote Catching the Big Fish on May 5th (tomorrow)

David Lynch will be in Paris on Monday May 5th to launch the French version of "Catching the Big Fish" ("Mon histoire vraie". Following last months successful Twin peaks Music Tribute, an encore presentation will take place with Lynch in attendance at "Le Divan du Monde". Cellist Jean-Philippe Audin will conduct an instrumental ensemble playing the music of Twin Peaks. Afterwards, Lynch will be interviewed on stage about his book. First Lynch Blu-ray DVD Released in France

Now that the format war is finally over, Universal France have taken the lead to release the first Lynch film on Blu-ray. The current Dune DVD from Universal France is said to have the best transfer of all Regions. Hopefully they will be using the same master for the new Blu-ray disc. I haven't made the plunge to Blu-ray yet but I'll probably do so when they release a few more Lynch titles on the format. You can check out the details here. Badalamenti Tribute in France - April 8th and 9th

There will be a tribute to Angelo Badalementi and the music of Twin Peaks on the 8th and 9th of April in Paris at "Le divan du Monde" featuring an instrumental ensemble.
