Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

So what does the Audrey revelation say about the Roadhouse scenes and "Billy", who has been referred to by people other than Billy. Were all, or perhaps just some, of the Roadhouse scenes taking place in Audrey's head? How does Bing, who was looking for Billy, play into all this? I think ...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

Wow. Just wow. What an episode. I finished the hour with tears rolling down my face; I have no idea why. One of those magical Lynchian moments. Richard frying was fabulous, Coop waking up was fabulous, Laura Dern in the Red Room.. wonderful!.. and Audrey? My god. Maybe one of my favourite ever TP sc...

I don't usually notice half of what folks here notice, but funnily I DID see the glitch first time around.

Sarah's obsession with Bloody Marys is like my wife's obsession with Bloody Marys. Should I be concerned?

Re: Part 14 - We are like the dreamer (SPOILERS)

I'm delighted that the Giant/Fireman/???????? is playing such a key role in TPTR because back some years ago I chose the Richard Beymer photo print that features DL directing the Giant in the Red Room.

Just a reminder that we've met 'Jack Rabbit' before. He lives with Suzie and Jane.

Re: Part 14 - We are like the dreamer (SPOILERS)

I'm beginning to think that Audrey is the key to a lot of this. That conversation at the Roadhouse, it's bothering me. It sounds a lot like Lynch dialogue in MD and IE. The girl forgetting if her 'uncle' is there or not is important. I just don't know why. Speaking of those girls at the Roadhouse, L...

Re: Part 13 - What story is that, Charlie? (SPOILERS)

Before tonight I was skeptical about this season being non-linear, or about the possibility that time is folding in on itself etc *insert variations on this theme*. But now.. hm.. now I think there IS something to that. -No timeline matches up very well. This has been made quite clear on numerous oc...

Re: Parts 3 + 4 (SPOILERS)

On the music - which I'm also missing - I half wondered it's intentional to keep everything quite quiet, until Coop finally returns to Twin Peaks. It's extremely difficult for me to imagine that there won't be a moment of real return , and even more difficult to imagine that it wouldn't require a re...

Re: Parts 1 + 2 (Spoilers)

I haven't posted around these parts for ages. But I check in all the time! So here I go.... So far I've only watched Part 1 + 2. I'll probably head over to 3 and 4 later this week, and before next Sunday. I loved it. But I confess right now, I am a David Lynch fan, not a Twin Peaks fan (in other wor...

*faints*

I'm in lecture right now. I'm a TA, and supposed to be watching that the 120 students don't abuse their computer privileges. But I'm abusing mine with ZERO guilt for this!!!

Good God. Can't believe it.

David Bowie's new album

So, who's excited about this? (March 11th) Having now heard two singles, I have to say, I'm REALLY looking forward. It seems like a rare 'top quality' comeback. Has anyone seen the new video for The Stars? It looks like the lovechild of David Lynch and Gregory Crewdson. IMO there are definitely refe...

I picked this up yesterday but haven't had a chance to read it yet. The images are nice and it's quite a long piece so looking forward :)
