Re: Favorite David Lynch Poster?

I got TP:FWWM at the first Twin...

Re: Best/favorite book on Lynch?

I just bought Lunch on Lynch and am really enjoying that. Came the same day as The Complete Lynch, and Beautiful Dark. Looks like I have a bit o' reading ahead of me. :) As far as his compilations of art and images, hard to say..... I have The Air is on Fire and think of that as the best so far, but...

Re: Polish Night Music

I bought this made it a point to play it while picking up friends from LAX.... Very soothing to listen to while dealing with Los Angeles freeways and surface streets and airport traffic. When leaving the airport their attention was immediately drawn to it. Perfect ambient music for conversation in t...

Re: Anyone agree that this soundtrack is possibly his best?

Like lostandfound 2 posts above me, I love "Hollywood Sunset", and the track as heard in the movie goes on for at least six minutes, as opposed to the paltry two minutes we get on the CD....and yes, it's a track one can get lost in and not want to come back. 8) Not a fan of the Rammstein m...

Re: David Lynch Signature Cup

I buy so much stuff online, I keep forgetting about this....we do have a Whole Foods close by, though.

I'd def. buy it online, I wonder if the canister packaging is a thing of the past? I'd love to have a few of those...just to have. :D

Re: Anybody have David's Quinoa Recipe?

I was introduced by my brother to Quinoa about four or five years ago, and have over time, I've used it to replace rice and pasta...in my home, anyway. When I go out, restaurants don't serve quinoa, nor do I expect that to happen anytime soon. I find it essential, being type-2 diabetic. The nutritio...

Re: The Collector's Corner

Among the various books, mags, versions of TP on video, the FWWM 1-sheet, and a number of other goodies, I got this when I met Catherine Coulson at the 1992 Twin Peaks Festival, at the Dinner with the Stars event at the Salish Lodge. I also got to meet Sheryl Lee, Moira Kelly, Ray Wise and Al Strobe...

Re: Twin Peaks Props

Hey there, as I mentioned in my first post in the Intro thread in the Hap's Diner forum, here is one of my most prized possessions from Twin Peaks. Again, the backstory is this: I was in Snoqualmie/North Bend for the first Twin Peaks Festival in 1992. Aside from a ton of other fun events, Dinner wit...

First Draft Screenplay of Dune

1st Draft for David Lynch's version of Dune, cowritten by Christopher DeVore and Eric Bergren: Originally meant to be two movies, it's a very interesting read, a bittersweet one, revealing could have been. It ends with Paul and Jessica escaping to the desert., after the attack on Arakeen Palace. Par...

Re: Seven Directors Who Could Handle DUNE...

Hi, Annie, pleasure to meet you! :D I'll start a thread about it, and what I've done is copy and pasted my posting from there..... it includes a rapidshare link, because the PDF is big....34 megabytes. It's not text, or a transcript, it's actual scans of each page....anyway, I'll start the thread an...
