Re: Blue Velvet 2011 Blu-ray Release with Deleted Scenes

I just finished watching the Deleted Scenes, and I can understand why they were taken out of the film, not just for the running time. However, I did like the scene where Dorothy takes Jeffrey to the roof the most.

Re: Obsessed with cellphones

While I don't appreciate it when I'm with a friend and they always somehow become busy on their cell phones, I still personally use mine in awkward situations. I don't know if anyone else does this, but sometimes I pretend I'm texting if I'm in the middle of a crowd on my college campus just so I do...

Re: Introductions

As you can tell, I am new here and am happy I found this forum! I've been a fan of David Lynch since I first saw Mulholland Drive years ago when I was around 14 or 15. The first time I rented the film, I returned it before I could even watch it! I gave it a second try and fell in love with it and it...

Re: Donnie Darko: The Director's Cut

I have seen both versions and prefer the Director's Cut more than the Theatrical Version. My only annoyance with the DC is the passages from The Philosophy of Time Travel because I feel it explains too much and doesn't leave much for interpretation. Overall though, both films are great and I recomme...

Re: Love MD but hate the ending

I personally found the ending devastating as well, but I don't believe all movies have to end happily. I know a lot of Lynch's movies have "happier" endings, but I guess it's also how you interpret the endings as well.

Re: Best/favorite book on Lynch?

Has anyone read "Beautiful Dark", a book on David Lynch and his films? I recently have checked it out from my college library and I really like it!

Re: David Lynch Bluray German Boxset

I actually just preordered that from Amazon.de because I really wanted to finally get some of Lynch's best movies on Blu-Ray. Personally I am no technical expert, but I may reply back to this topic when I watch the films! :)
