Re: Listen to the sounds....

I think the sound IS of a record skipping*. A record is almost always a linear progression from the start to the end. However, if there is a defect, the needle may skip back and endlessly try to play through. It also may jump forward into another groove. There could also be just a noise heard. So i...

Re: An Ever-Growing Collection of Quotes Pertaining to the Possibility of a Season 4

Yes but if he meant it that general why the #twinpeaks I've never made a "tweet", but don't people "hashtag" stuff so it can be found by people searching for that topic? Exactly, so Kyle made it be explicitly about "Twin Peaks" and not someday, some daring show might.....

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

hmm- how long ago was it? Could it be connected to this? http://greatnorthwestwine.com/event/pursued-by-bear-abeja-winemaker-dinner-with-kyle-maclachlan-and-daniel-wampfler-at-the-salish/ Or was it after that? Thanks Baxter, I'm sure that was it (and if it was later, probably just a re-occurance of...

Did we figure out why Kyle was at the Salish Lodge a few weeks ago?

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Mark Frost has directly said at least 3 times that the show must continue. Someone should hack his Skype and see what he has been upto :) Has he? I saw that one recent article where he is quoted as having said that he'd like the show to continue (it wasn't a direct quote sadly), what are the other ...

Re: Original Season 3 Plans

Ooh, very interesting! Dead Dog Farm, oh what you could have been... It's comforting to know that others are as emotional about Dead Dog Farm as I am. Did they nail the mood with that or what? The name of the place was PERFECT, and the set design for the place was phenomenal. Sure, some aspects lik...

Re: Phillip Jeffries imposter / Lost Highway connection?

The voice in episode 29 is Windom Earle, IIRC. I think the voice on the call with Mr. C sounds like and is Grace/Sarah/Judy, but that's very subjective. What makes you think the ep.29 voice is Windom speaking through Sara? Of course Windom is having out in the lodge at the time and I could see a po...

Re: Phillip Jeffries imposter / Lost Highway connection?

To my ears, there is a bit of a southern accent sneaking into the last few lines (making it less likely that this voice was computer generated in the first place). Does anyone else hear such?

Re: Phillip Jeffries imposter / Lost Highway connection?

A future version of Cooper (or a future version of any character) would probably know that Mr.C didn't end up going back in to the lodge as planned. That being said, I am also not convinced that the voice is Grace Zabriskie modulated. Did anyone ever record and play around with those lines of dialog...

Re: One year later - how are we feeling?

I bought the set a few months ago so I wouldn't miss out, but actually haven't even cracked the wrapper yet. I can't imagine it would look any better, and the crispness would be even more evident (I watched the show through my Comcast cable). The show needed to be degraded, softened, darkened. It d...
