Like they’ll rescue her and then everyone in the town will be confused so they’ll have her body exhumed from the cemetery but the casket will be empty...

Did you choose to leave on your own or did the writers plan on cutting you from the show? Were there any plans to bring James back in a third season?...possibly Donna storms out of Twin Peaks to find James again? Were you surprised that you were asked back for FWWM after being written out in the sec...

I like this. To be honest though, I am probably going to do a fan edit of the final episode and add the "several months later" stuff at the end. If i ever get through the Deer Meadow sequence first.... I think someone should make a fan S03E01 using the "some months later" scenes...

I believe Coop's last scene in The Black Lodge in The Missing Pieces is actually supposed to be the last scene before Laura's Angel. If you look at the crossfade between Laura's corpse in the theatrical cut and Coop's face in The Missing Pieces, they both lead into the same shot. http://i58.tinypic....

A general FWWM edit might be a tad easier than cleaning up the mess known as the second half of season two. Maybe something like this could be done with Laura's death (feels kind of strange though):
