Re: What would a Season 4 be about?

I just watched some first season Peaks, and it is so outstanding. They had the best cast firing on all cylinders. How Lynch and Frost could waste the Fenn/Machlachlan chemistry will always be a head scratcher to me.

Re: Wasn't the killer obvious? (SPOILERS)

This is fun. Back in the day during the first season, I was positive it could only be a few people. First, it HAD to be someone listed in the opening credits or otherwise it’s a cheat. And second, it had to be one of the good guys. And third, it had to be someone Coooer had significant interaction w...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

First of all regarding my post.... yikes, I suck at typing on an iPad... those typos! Breaking Bad worked for me in its entirety the most successfully in the hour format. In the hourly serial format that is relatively new. I’m racking my brain for the one hour format prior to Dallas that wasn’t a se...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I love him in Jackie Brown. I love him in general. Just watching him and Pam Grier have a morning cup of coffe, talking about getting older is the hottest love scene in years. And yes, watch Breaking Bad. Easily the best one hour drama for me in entirety. They were making it up season to season and ...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

That makes a lot of sense.

Not saying something is being filmed, but if it is, this is the way to go.

I think production and Lynch learned how much info can get out easily.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I mean, for the sake of the mental health of Peaks fans, it would be nice if they announced something soon. Most Peaks fans have mental health issues anyway.... :D I say this with love and as much compassion as I can muster.... having hung out with so many of them for over a decade in person, I’m f...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

The two big cliffhangers in 1991 were what happened to Coop, and what happened to Audrey (and Pete)? Twenty five years later after returning the two big cliffhangers were What, where happened to Coop (and Laura), and what happened to Audrey? Both times they were depicted as Tune in Next Time to find...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Most likely it is coming back... because I’m at a point in my life when it’s crunch time to get some important things done, so naturally Peaks will muck it up.

Re: Episode 18

I’m thinking a lot of that also has to do with when things were filmed, and actors performing scenes in later episodes before the Killer reveal episode even aired. Ie. Dana Ashbrook filming a Bobby scene in episode eighteen when episode fourteen might be airing in a few weeks and he (the actor) stil...

Re: The Random Season 3 Thread

I think that is embellishing what they’re saying. They praise him. But they’re also comparing and contrasting the difference between working with him under different guidelines. And they’re not talking behind his back, at least with Fenn she voiced her concerns right away.

Re: The Random Season 3 Thread

I think it makes the most sense based on the nature of their structure and in the planning, the spine was Cooper in Vegas and the FBI investigation. Then with elements of Peaks that ideally who they wanted from the original, but if they couldn’t do it, it could be reworked. From the original, I thin...

Re: The Random Season 3 Thread

Agreed, and was the kind of jolt the show needed, no matter which character it was (as long as it was someone we have history with and is semi beloved). I know Lynch said to ideally view this as an eighteen hour movie that washes over you, but at the same time it is impossible to (especially when it...

Re: The Random Season 3 Thread

Yeah, I agree with you on all those points. And for some reason, the imperfections of the second season and now with The Return, it kinda gives it more life for me with the continued what if game. I’m trying to think of an hour drama show that remained tight as a drum (Breaking Bad managed to pull o...
