Thank you both!
No birthday cake, I can't eat sugar.
No hung over, I do not drink.
No party, I live alone and do not date!
BUT, I went and heard/saw a Hawaiian music act whose first album I recorded 29 years ago!
Was mellow and beautiful, and took me 'home' to Maui.
Yay!!!

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Discussion
Wow, what a thread! So much hope. So much speculation. So much envisioning. Well, here is what I know... For the initial New Line DVD release of FWWM (either the first or second of his films I mixed in 5.1), they wanted to include 'deleted scenes'. Now remember, this was 1998 or 1999, the beginning ...

Re: David Lynch - "The Big Dream" Available July 16th 2013
The first song sure sounds like he misses Julee Cruise! I am pretty sure the second one was a drumtrack I did for a BlueBOB 2 album. But yes, this is definitely better to me than 'Crazy Clown Time'. But who determines 'better'? Just happy to see him continuing to make music. By the way, the Jocelyn ...

Re: Loud and Quiet magazine - David Lynch in his home
Just saw this. Have not heard the new album. He and I were going to split each other off the unfinished BlueBOB 2nd album and finish them our own ways with our own lyrics and singers, and co-release. I never did, but now I'll have to listen to the new album and see if he did. I like the article's de...

Re: Hey, Anybody back from the Festival??
Hi. I had a fabulous Fest this year! DeAnn and Rob Lindley completely stepped up to the plate and made for a wonderful fest, assisted by Angela, Glenn and all the other staffers! The Thursday night prefest party was at a new place, The PurHouse, across from the Moose Lodge, which in teh past was OK,...

Re: David Lynch & John Neff - Cannes Memory
Dave was the President of the Jury for the 2002 Cannes Film Festival, and we had such success there the year before with "Mulholland Drive" that he wanted to do a sunny, Mediterranean sounding thing to give out at the Fest. So we had a Rhodes piano at the studio, and I had one at home too....

Re: David Lynch: Ranking His Movies From Worst To Best
Well, I at first thought this was David rating his own films instead of an amateur idiot, but got about what I expected when I saw the list and inane descriptions. OK, that's off my chest... No it's not. The writer had a LOT of information wrong! Mulholland Drive was NOT 'killed by its producers' as...

Re: Eraserhead *Lost* Footage
Actually, the 'B' roll and outtakes from Eraserhead were stored at his home in a tool shed in Virginia, and while he was filming either 'Dune' or 'Blue Velvet', his then wife Mary Fisk had a lot of Dave's stuff taken to the dump, and this included all the material from 'Eraserhead'. He considered ha...

Yes, we shot that in Dave's studio as part of the extras for the 'Eraserhead 2000' DVD release on dl.com.

Re: Kyle MacLachlan discussing Twin Peaks vs. Desperate Hous
I don't want to say too much, but don't forget that Kyle and Dave had a falling out about Cooper in the second season and for TP-FWWM. So he has had a bad taste in his mouth about the show to some extent. Now he and Dave are good friends, but there was a time... And Kyle looks forward, not back, sam...

Re: John Neff to attend the 2013 Twin Peaks Festival
Thank you for this. I am happy to attend the fest again this year. This will be my fifth fest. I was scheduled for the 2004 fest but my Mother died just before it, same time as Dave's. We wrote a son for our Mothers, "Sweet Thing". I am working on a documentary of our Paris concert for the...

Wow, what a nice cake! And thank you for the birthday wishes, and Rebel, thank you for the nice music note. Annie, I do not eat things with sugar, but that looks darn good! So, no new music news of my own at the moment. Still getting going again here in Portland, OR. Was in a commercial studio for a...

BlueBOB CDs at Twin Peaks
I am in North Bend, WA for the Twin Peaks Festival, and will have all 3 editions of the BlueBOB CD for sale here, the regular jewel-case store type CD, the DL.com Box Set Edition and a few copies of the Limited Edition Paris Box Set, that has the "Thank You, Judge!" video on it, with Naomi...

Re: Vanity Fair's 100th Anniversary of Paramont picuture
In terms of Lynch and Paramount, we also built all the interior sets for "Mulholland Drive" there and commercials there such as Charlize Theron's L'Oreal commercials.
