Re: Juana Durango

Hey thanks, but I now own the film and long ago took a bunch of screenshots. Might as well post a few here: http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c158/wallydanger/TIK%20ups/Wild%20At%20Heart/wild7.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c158/wallydanger/TIK%20ups/Wild%20At%20Heart/wild8.jpg http://i27.pho...

Does the Gold Box shed light on 'Euro Pilot' release?

I spent weeks (last spring) digging for info on the original release and screenings in Europe of the 133 minute Twin Peaks 'pilot' and only found a few tidbits with very little information. So I'm wondering if any light has been shed, either in print or in the interviews, on the subject in the new G...

Juana Durango

Wild At Heart is one of the few Lynch films I don't own. There is an image I am craving - of Grace Zabriskie as Juana Durango. I suppose I'll have to rent (or buy) it so I can take some screenshots. I remember a shot where Grace brings her face up close to the camera, almost filling the frame. She ...

Wow! That's some cover!

Thanks for scanning and posting it. It's certainly a high quality image, and in mint condition. I wonder if Lynch had anything to do with the photography and design?

I can't believe that they will not have any deleted scenes on the DVD. Unless they add deleted scenes, I think I will wait for the pilot to be released separately. Yep, me too. But it's just possible that nothing is set in stone yet. Maybe we'll all be pleasantly surprised, since we have suc...

I'm watching the series a couple of episodes per week with some friends, and I've felt like the dialogue was marginally quieter than everything else compared to S1, but not annoyingly so. Watching episode 20-21 tonight though, I found myself adjusting the volume constantly, unable to find a satisfy...

Joy!

Have finally gotten around to downloading torrents. First I tried Shareaza, but it seemed too slow to download things. I unistalled that and then tried Azureus. But, though faster, it used a lot of the computers resources making it very slow to try doing anything else while downloading. (maybe thats...

Great! You know, I doubt if the studio would buy these cover designs from you, they'd probably just steal the ideas for them from you instead. But you know, there are opportunities for many covers since each disc will likely come in a case of some kind, as in the Season 2 package (which had terrible...

Wow. Thanks everyone! It's so cool to hear all these compliments on my covers (the only trouble is, I can't stop making them!) I really do hope that the people over at Paramount read this board and get it into their heads that NOBODY likes that "Definitive Gold" scheme. What utter nonsens...

Well, I probably would buy it if I could afford it, but unfortunately I live far below the poverty level.

I should have waited, but with news of the Season 2 release I had an overwhelming desire to experience the series again. There was just no more waiting.

I have trouble reading content that is white lettering on a black background recently. I like the way it looks otherwise, but it makes my vision go wacky for quite some time afterwards. I'll just have to copy and paste into a Word document, I suppose.

BTW, I adore Grace. Good job!

The 'Definitive' Gold Box Edition

An article on tvshowsondvd.com from 6/18/07 has news about a much anticipated 'Definitive' Gold Box Edition of Twin Peaks being released this October 30. Here's a link to the article: Twin Peaks: Cover Art, Tentative Street Date For Definitive Gold Box Edition [edit: since the cover art has now been...

Unfortunately, I've been given indication that there will likely not be any original soundtracks included on the new "Complete" box set which is a pity as it's not like it would cost CBS/Paramount much to include the original stereo tracks. It seems like a lost opportunity to me but what ...
