Re: RIP Krzysztof Penderecki

I guess no one else here cares, but David Lynch pays respect to Penderecki.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

If there was any chance of them announcing a new Twin Peaks at the Twin Peaks 30 event, it's been postponed until October. And if Lynch had been planning on starting production any new project soon, Twin Peaks or otherwise, I imagine that is on hold as well. Hope Lynch is being safe and staying at h...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

If the aforementioned casting rumors are legit, I think for me it would come down what that turns out to be (fully acknowledging the rumors may not be legit). If Lynch has a non Twin Peaks project on the scale of a feature film or limited series, I'd be very surprised if Lynch returns to Twin Peaks ...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

The casting notice scoop seems amusingly credible to me as well. I agree it can be about anything. If the casting notice is specific that it is a film, hopefully it means it's a substantial project. I would be excited for more Twin Peaks, but I might be even more excited if it was a new original fil...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I personally have no qualms with TP having a new season on Netflix -- I'd just hate for the entire season to get released at once. That model seems to work well with certain shows (OITNB, Stranger Things), but I really enjoyed having a week to sit with each individual episode of S3. There are some ...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Because Jennifer Lynch was once a board member? That's a stretch.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

It's likely all gonna come down to Lynch and Frost agreeing on an idea to move forward. They had been discussing Season 3 for a year before they could agree on a framework to look forward. Only the inner circle knows how close or far they are to that point with Season 4. You mean the inner circle t...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks

I don't really see the point of releasing a book before the new season that isn't canon (yes, I know there's the cash grab aspect of it, but I'd like to think that something written by Mark Frost, the co-creater of the series and co-writer of the show, would have some relevance). The incongruities s...

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017

I do find it curious that Alicia Witt's name was not on the lengthy official cast list that Showtime released. I expected there would be some unannounced cast members that were meant to be a surprise. The reappearance of Gersten Hayward seems more like an easter egg than a surprise but there are som...

I'm sure this has already been posted here, but I'm wondering why the countdown is different than the the one at the top of this site?

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017

On a related bonkers social media note, anyone know what happened to Little Mike on Facebook? His page seems to have vanished. At least I think it has. The only Michael J Anderson I see on there now has a very stripped down page, so either it's him and he deleted most of his previous posts, or he d...
