Re: Parts 1 & 2 - My log has a message for you & The stars turn and a time presents itself (SPOILERS)

Is Otis the only person in season 3 to call the doppelganger "Mr. C"? I'm trying to think who else does - I think Ray calls him Cooper and Chantal calls him boss. It would be kind of wild if what may have became the most popular moniker for this character is only ever said once, by such a ...

Re: Different Twin Peaks podcasts

Listening to people break down an episode of TP is definitely not everyone's cup of tea, but I wanted to document the week-to-week journey for my own entertainment and provide those who wanted a take on things that weren't their own. I don't remember telling anyone to "fuck off," but if I...

Absolutely, but not at the beginning, so I don't think the wire thing was any indication. I took more from her smirk after the "Not where it counts" comment.

Re: Season 3 Timeline (SPOILERS)

Ok, here's what I came up with. I think it works. Timeline by scene/group of scenes (events are organized by day, but not by time of day; I did not worry about Audrey or Roadhouse scenes w/ one-off characters) Wednesday, 9/21: Jacoby receives shovels (Pt1) Intro to glass box (Pt1) Jacoby paints shov...

Re: Season 3 Timeline (SPOILERS)

I ran into more issues. They're too convoluted to explain briefly, but I ended up moving some more things around. At this point the timeline I'm referencing for my character series differs substantially from the ones above, so maybe I'll share the whole thing at one point. For now, here's what I rea...

Re: Season 3 Timeline (SPOILERS)

I think I was able to rearrange things so that everything in Twin Peaks takes place a day later at first and then gradually dovetails with your schedule (in fact there was a missing day for a lot of stuff so this may work even better). Jerry's stuff can kind of go anywhere, as long as his call to Be...

Re: Season 3 Timeline (SPOILERS)

Is there a way to shift most of the early Twin Peaks stuff over a day? I ask because the action of part 5 is being placed on Sunday yet people are working *all over the place*. Ok, the diner's gonna be open, but Mike's car lot, Stephen going on interviews, Becky at the bakery, Doris arguing about ge...

Re: Season 3 Timeline (SPOILERS)

Thanks! Yes, for those two scenes (and for many others), I had really difficulties to place them. Doing a timeline shows you that "time" is really a subjective thing, on this third season. Another question: you place Sylvia's call to Ben on a Wednesday and the second "hum" scene...

Re: Mark Frost's Contributions to TP:TR (Speculation)

Since we know that Frost kicked the process off with some "narrative threads", I'm intrigued to know what these were. Oh God, me too. And even more so... I hope that Frost will be forthcoming in the coming years in discussing the show. ^This. I love Lynch's "let the mystery be" ...

Re: Season 3 was incredibly mean-spirited (spoilers)

Been discussing similar topics on Twitter, and it strikes me that the question of if The Return is mean-spirited kind of hinges on whether or not Cooper's outcome is also Laura's. If we are following his character to this end, it's a sad but honest and logical outcome from the character's previous d...

Re: Mark Frost's Contributions to TP:TR (Speculation)

I'm also not familiar with Frost's novels, but for certain Freddie is his creation. Frost was one of a team of writers on the 2005 and 2007 "Fantastic Four" movies, so obviously he has at least some connection to comic book properties. Freddie's dialogue in the Great Northern scene just d...

Re: Season 3 Timeline (SPOILERS)

I think part of me regrets that everyone is finding it so much easier to slot everything into 2016. I did like the idea of "25 years later" making it 2014. (Plus it's kinda nice as the show's narrative ends right around the time Lynch & Frost actually announced The Return!) Any chance ...

Re: Season 3 Timeline (SPOILERS)

A potential hang-up with any timeline (and reminder that Lynch/Frost probably hadn't worked out anything concrete)...the Coop/Dougie storyline appears to take place over 6 days (before he electrocutes himself), and every one of those is a workday.
