Re: The endings of Twin Peaks
Only in 1995 they showed half of the episodes and said that's all folks. It's also weird that Fire Walk with Me aired in January 16th 1995 - a few months before the rerun happened - yet for some reason they felt they should end the show before the Black Lodge stuff happens. I remember really wantin...

Re: is there any other show that even comes close to your obsession with TP?
claaa7: I first saw Inland Empire in Geneva, and took in a large box of popcorn. It sounded so loud every time I crunched it that I ended up sucking each piece and digesting it like a fly so as not to disturb people. I pretty much needed the full 3 hours to eat the whole box. Haha at least you were...

Re: Watching Season 3 Around the World
thank you, thank you, thank you HBO Nordic.. you can count on my subscription here in Sweden (free trial the first month, then 89 SEK per month - that's very close to 9 dollars, not a lot to pay for this wonderful event). i read in a Swedish Twin Peaks group someone has been in contact with HBO Nord...

Re: Any swedish tp fans in malmoe?
cool, i currently reside in Angelholm... yeah it was GREAT to finally see two of my favorite films on the Cinema screen as it was supposed (FWWM and 2001: A Space Oddyssey a while back). they were both film copies (not digital), and although 2001 was in noticable better shape, FWWM was a lttile roug...

DKL tells a great anecdote in The Art Life about a Dylan concert. It has a priceless quite from DKL at the end that delighted me as a huge fan of both men. oh i haven't been able to see that! i am not sure it has been released theatrically, and while i usually don't mind watching docs on my ipad or...

Re: The Cowboy and the Frenchman
what's interesting is that i'm pretty sure that only parts of it are from that 16MM mystery bonus which makes it even stranger. Just did a side-by-side comparison. I can say definitively that there's no footage exclusive to those videos. It's all from 16MM. Not a leak, just an illegal posting of of...

Re: The Cowboy and the Frenchman
Wasn't aware of those. From a quick glimpse, I think it's the same material that was included on the Lime Green Mystery Disc under the title "16MM" -- a 15-20 minute assortment of outtakes and experiments from Lynch's very early career. what's interesting is that i'm pretty sure that only...

Re: Least Favorite Storyline in Twin Peaks
i never thought the James Hurley storyline was that awful either... it was a bit cheesy, but it did manage to capture some noir feeling from time to time which at least was a welcome change from all the ultra silly stories about Nadine behaving like an 11 year old with superhuman strength, the Lucy,...

Re: The Cowboy and the Frenchman
Something I always wondered about though, what the HELL is what is known as "Alphabets 2" and "Alphabets 3" that has been floating around the net.. some pretty creepy stuff, though they are obviously outtakes from the filming of "The Alphabet".. has some great scenes a...

Re: The Cowboy and the Frenchman
I believe it wasn't included with Eraserhead on Blu-ray due to a rights issue. All the other shorts are owned by David himself. he managed to release it on his own DVD "The Short Films of David Lynch" though, and that was released on Absurda? i agree with Axxon N though, it wouldn't fit o...
