Re: Black Lodge spirits
I wanted to ask...are all black lodge spirits "evil" or? I just wanted to ask because the Tremonds...the young boy and the older woman...why did they give Laura the portrait to have Dale warn her about what was going to happen with the ring? And, the Giant...why did he seemingly help Dale...

Re: Let's talk about Judy
What gave me the impression that Judy might have more significance than that was Cooper's reaction (in the theatrical take) when Jeffries mentions Judy. Before Jeffries even finishes the sentence about "We're not going to talk about Judy at all, we're going to keep her out of it," Cooper ...

Re: Sleeper host
I wonder what the "evil side" of Coop is even like...I am so curious. Because Coop is just so nice and gentle. I mean he's literally a boy scout. So, this is going to be interesting to see for me in terms of character development,etc...because I am actually pretty fascinated with Coop are...

Re: Let's talk about Judy
It's fairly common knowledge that Judy may have been planned as some relative to Josie or something. The idea of her as a 'redhead Laura' is more thematically interesting but honestly I think Sheryl Lee would wear out her welcome being killed by BOB a third time so I'd hope that wasn't the plan. Reg...

Re: Denise Bryson Returns
he will be propably put in some episodes, but only because they should use him, not because he was needed. ...If he's not needed, they shouldn't use him. These statements seem a contradiction unless I'm reading them wrong. And I'm not sure I see the difficult position here. He was written into epis...

Re: A few question regarding the storyline
Hey man, thanks for answering! Really put some light in my darkness. to 1) I get that. For example Andy and Lucy were very entertaining, just like Nadine and Ed. But am I the only one considering everything about James and Donna was absolutely boring? to 2) Leland molested Laura for a long time. In...

Re: See You In 25 Years
Setting aside the rest of that for now, this part in particular just reads like a nostalgia filter. We should all avoid that.underthefan wrote:Anything he could come up with today, in whatever form, would never be able to live up to the original and it would thus inevitably be a disappointment...

Re: A few question regarding the storyline
Hey guys, I just finished watching Twin Peaks but I still have some unanswered questions, so I decided to ask them here. (I'm from Germany and we don't have a Twin Peaks Forum, so please excuse my English). First: Why where there so many storylines? F.e everything about James and Donna, wasn't that...

Re: Wayward Pines
Never heard of the books. Only watched in the first place because the commercials had a Twin Peaks vibe. Enjoyed episode one well enough. Clear Twin Peaks/Lynch influences but altogether a very different beast so the TP bits being 'superficial' is no big deal.

Re: See You In 25 Years
the majority of people I discussed it with felt that it should be left as it is and that FWWM was a 'perfect' ending.\ But FWWM wasn't an ending. It was a pre...inter...sequel...thing. Really just a more complex form of the beginning. I rather like the ending season two (unintentionally?) pro...

Wayward Pines
Some new show based on some novel I never read. The commercials gave off a very Twin Peaks-esque feeling what with the little town and all the trees so I checked out the premiere. - Somewhat eerie town full of odd people. - A quaint town name that tricks you into thinking it's a good place while it'...

Re: Twin Peaks: Season Three confirmed for 2016 on Showtime
It [FWWM fanedit] was making material available to fans who would otherwise have to go out and buy the blu-ray. you are basically perpetuating the corporate logic that considers fan works as a morally outrageous acts of theft. I'm not being pro-corporate. You kind of are...Right there with the whol...

Re: Twin Peaks: Season Three confirmed for 2016 on Showtime
The only time that annoys me is when someone tries to tout their thing as superior when it isn't...Or when people say something is superior to the original when it's kludgily cut together. You're basically just saying "I get annoyed when people prefer things that I don't!" in a less immed...

Re: Revealing the killer - public vs. private
Had the killer reveal spoiled for me by virtue of only discovering Twin Peaks in the post-2010 years where everything ever is spoiled by jerks. But the reveal itself was still very well-executed and honestly, I suspected he had something to do with it anyway. He was an odd little man... The network ...
