There are a lot of signs indicating that something is happening. So I think that's the least likely possibility of all—far below "something on which the plug was / will be pulled."

Re: What is Wisteria/Unrecorded Night?

Seemed to have a slight edge, to me. Like there was some history to it. If he was asked that about What Did Jack Do I bet he wouldn't be as cutting in his response. Not cutting, not quite curt ("rudely brief")—just emphatic and short. It read to me too as though there was a history, thoug...

Re: What is Wisteria/Unrecorded Night?

I think it's entirely possible that Lynch might want to make something new that's TP-adjacent, set in the same fictional universe, but distant enough that Frost doesn't feel the need to be involved, or simply isn't interested in being involved. I'm thinking of an analogy using Stephen King novels. I...

Re: Peaks Fans Top 15 Movies

Europa is interesting, though it wouldn't crack my top 5 Von Trier films. It's a bit too pastichey in style for my tastes. Worth seeing once, though. If by "holocaust comments" you mean the Cannes Q&A where he said "I understand Hitler" and "I'm a Nazi," that was I...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

It is starting to feel like there are perhaps more wisteria-related (flower) posts from TP-associated people than one would expect if everything was just coincidental and innocently unrelated to the production rumors. OTOH, tapping into the rumor buzz, even deliberately, doesn’t necessarily mean the...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

All I can say about that is that is that subs are sometimes an obviously artistic choice on Lynch's part - especially in Inland Empire for the Polish parts (which are necessary) and the street scene near the end (a purely artistic choice). Re: the home media subtitle situation, Lynch's reluctance t...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

The only thing I hear about Marcel Proust, whom I greatly admire and consider my favorite author, is that he's "boring", which yes, he is No, he isn't! Or at any rate, he doesn't have to be. As a huge fan of both Akerman and Proust, I wouldn't put them in the same category re: boredom at ...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

The night ep. 17 aired I said to myself, “Obviously it was originally supposed to be Margaret instead of Freddie, and the green glove was supposed to be the log, wielded like a baseball bat.” I can still feel in my bones that this must be the truth of it.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I don't usually bite at the notion that DKL is dropping hints about anything in his YouTube content—but I'll admit that when he started out the weather report this morning by saying "Good morning! It's March Five, Two-Thousand-Forty-One," he had my attention.

What year is this?

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

A curveball is coming, according to Lynch  He clearly said this in the context of the weather. He’s referring to the fact that LA is potentially going to have an unusually heavy downpour tomorrow. "Stay tuned tomorrow for the weather, cause I think a curveball is coming. But today, it's ...
