Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I remembered reading this article when the Dark Crystal was cancelled, about an executive being let go: https://www.spoilertv.com/search?max-results=40 “In an article by The Hollywood Reporter discussing Netflix letting go long time executive Cindy Holland, they discussed Holland being responsible f...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I just think it's silly to set yourself up to be disappointed by "David Lynch is being given a bunch of money to make an entirely new, original series/film." That’s totally fair. I think it’s half a stupid concern that the announcement won’t be about that either (even with the legitimacy ...

Kimmy added this a few hours ago. I’m trying to keep my expectations in check, but it’s getting harder and harder. I think I’m committed to just believing for now, and I can just deal with any potential disappointment later.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Looking at this thread for the last year has given me hope. This is some beautiful anticipation! Just getting a head start on being one of those lurkers who comes out of the woodwork when something happens, haha!

Re: Parts 3 + 4 (SPOILERS)

The markings on the carpet during the opening shot of the giant remind me of Maddy's carpet vision in the original series.
When we first see the glass box entity it looks like she is holding something yellow for a moment.

Stupid leaks :( Now I have to stay off the internet until next Sunday.

Re: Parts 3 + 4 (Spoilers)

5) The effects: Guys, Lynch is not and has never been interested in "realistic" VFX. From the moment he started playing around with computers in the early 2000s, he's consistently made stuff exactly like this. Realism is simply not the point. I freaking LOVE the Evolution of the Arm! It's...

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017

Do you know if you'll be able to watch the second and third parts on the night of the premier? EDIT: I mean the third and fourth parts. I second this question. I'm planning to get Showtime through Amazon Prime and am concerned about not being able to watch Parts 3 & 4 immediately after the firs...

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017

I wonder if I can fool Showtime into giving me another free trial period. If you already have Amazon Prime, it's a pretty cheap subscription to add Showtime per month. 10 bucks. Since I don't have cable, this is how I'm doing it. Do you know if you'll be able to watch the second and third...

http://i.imgur.com/QquZIx2.gif I'm firmly in the two Coopers camp. The motions are mapped exactly the same. Person on the left moves like a much older person. Yep. The knees are very spread apart, the shoulders more haunched, and the arms swing more freely, as if just controlled by motion and gravi...

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017

I quite liked the digital effect of Phillip Jeffries teleporting in the Missing Pieces! Lynch must have also had a big hand in that. I welcome more, certainly a step up from the poor rotoscoping of Coop parting the curtains at Glastonbury Grove, though I do love that shot and feel that it has a cert...

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017

Yeah I read the original article where Lynch said he wouldn't make another movie. I think he's unhappy with the current film climate, and probably hasn't had a real shot at making a movie in a while. If the show is successful, I can see him getting involved in another film, if he fancies it. I thin...

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017

Maybe someone here could help me. I was using my phone to play YouTube through my headphones at work today. In between videos while listening to the Fire Walk With Me soundtrack on a playlist I heard an ominous drone followed by a female voice saying something like "Twin Peaks, Airing May 21st ...
