I've realised that if I am ever in court, I don't want the jury to be comprised of dugpa members. We're too good at reaching speculative conclusions!

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

My heart says, "of course," but my mind is torn between its longing for answers and its (newfound?) realization that it may not like the answers it's given.

For me, as of right now, Twin Peaks is dead (but yet it lives). Ask me again after I have read Frost's next book.

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

I haven't finished watching the finale in whole, but I just got to say punching the Bob Ball is really f***ing stupid. Like super f***ing stupid. Like thought bubble little Nicky stupid. F**k green glove, I want my life back that I wasted watching that character He's not Little Nicky, but he's way ...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

I wish they didn't destroy the mystery of Cooper's tape recorder in the first place. Did they? I'm a lot less clear today on who (or what) Diane is (or was) than I ever have been. After The Missing Pieces, it really didn't see like much of a mystery, aside from what she looked like (which technical...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

It had a few decent moments, and mostly sucked. I pretty much loved the whole episode, except I was underwhelmed by the Jeffries/Teapot. But can I really fault Lynch for that? Not really, since it was better than a Bowie recast. Yeah, if they were going to keep him in the story, there was no soluti...

Re: Twin Peaks The Return: The Mixed/Moderately Disappointed Thread

I suppose I'm still technically mixed. I sort of like it for what it is as its own thing, but can't help wishing it could have been more like the Season 3 I had imagined. And there's some narrative and pacing choices I seriously question. I'm at the stage where I'm not sure how I feel about it tbh....
