I don't understand. You actually want to spend more money for material you already own? Personally, I would feel "disappointed and ripped off" if the same old material WAS on the set.

David Lynch only directed a few episodes of Twin Peaks so his dislike of commentaries is neither here nor there. Actually, it is. As I said, Lynch is supposedly involved in the new set. It's got less to do with his role as episode director and more to do with his role as series co-creator/executive...

I wish Universal would pony up the money to allow Lynch to recut the film to his liking. Even if the original cut that he screened for cast and crew in Mexico is gone forever (and I'm not entirely convinced it is), they could still go back to the original negative and create something approximating ...

I read the script for Ronnie Rocket years ago and absolutely loved it. Unbridled imagination, to say the least. I'd love to see Lynch do it today.

I just tried the house roast. It was OK. Not the best I've ever had, nor the worst. But the packaging is very nice. And that often seems to be the case with celebrity products...lures you in with name recogniztion and slick packaging but then leaves you wanting with the actual goods. Still, I'm glad...

David Lynch doesn't like audio commentaries. Even says so in his new book, Catching The Big Fish. So I don't expect there to be any commentaries on the upcoming box set since he's involved in its creation.

Still looking forward to it though.
