Re: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Blu-ray 12/5/17

just finished the extra's. Great insights and just that is a purchase worth it. One thing baffles me as long time DL fan who followed his carreer since BV. DL seemed incredibly stressed making the series and even wonder he enjoyed it at all? Also the way he directed the actors contradicted the stor...

Totally agree about the comic con panel! More importantly, I totally agree about the look and lighting of the Sheriff's Station, which I always thought looked like, well, "home." And most importantly, I disagree about the bunnies, which I always thought was mostly great...and it's probabl...

Re: [spoilers] A theory on 8 and the 8.

"Laura is the one." Let's think about this a little while, because the words of the Log Lady were, and still are and always will be, very important. Laura's golden orb was being created immediately after the nuclear disaster, literally above and out of the Giant's head. This orb also got ...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Satisfied Support Group (SPOILERS)

What is the standard interpretation nowadays of why Sarah freaks out in the convenience store about the turkey jerky? Just yesterday it popped into my head that maybe Sarah/Judy was confused about which reality/timeline she was in- that's why she wanted to specifically know that the clerk had seen t...

Can a 4k be played on a regular Blu Ray? This is where I get confused .

Re: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Blu-ray 12/5/17

Not sure when I’ll get around to the extras — at the moment I’m too excited at the prospect of rewatching the show itself in full HD with no streaming annoyances. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Can anyone who has watched the features say if Mark has much of a presence? I’m excited to see him on set talk...

Mine was also re-scheduled for 12/18 but showed up in my mailbox yesterday, 12/12.

BTW, on Blu-Ray dot com, it is listed as no. 13 hottest selling Blu Ray now.

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

Still, there is no explanation how an incapacitated Dougie, who relies on higher powers for any formative activity, can tackle a veteran criminal (who then later got to trip himself ), and is then back to square one not being able to catch a softball or get out of the elevator, let alone a car...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Satisfied Support Group (SPOILERS)

the Globes have always been in favor of Lynch, and he is on their radar... which sometimes a lot of other shows aren't. (there's just too many shows.) But Mulholland Dr. and Lunch were nominated. And Peaks, Machlachlan, Laurie and Fenn were nominated (with three big wins). Ahhh interesting, just lo...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Satisfied Support Group (SPOILERS)

This is so sad.Games of thrones had the weakest season and it got nominated.Same with stranger things,it was just popcorn entertainment with all the stuff copied or referenced from the 80s.Twin peaks on the other hand was some serious art that made people think and question things.Lynch and Frost d...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Satisfied Support Group (SPOILERS)

I'm pleased as punch to see both Loving Vincent (please check out a trailer and collect your jaw at the end) and The Breadwinner (haven't watched it yet but it's by the team that made Secret of Kells and Song of the Sea, so that's as promising a pedigree as it gets) get some love in the animation c...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Satisfied Support Group (SPOILERS)

Yes I agree, my expectations are extremely low when it comes to movies/shows that I like winning at the awards ceremonies. Basically, almost none of my favorites in the theater or on TV have ever won any award. The Good Place, which is another of my favorites this year and is also on a lot of TV cri...

Kind of disappointed Twin Peaks did not get more than that one nomination, but since the TV ratings were so low, I guess I am not surprised.
