Re: 'Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier' Novel by Mark Frost 10/31 (SPOILERS)
I have a question about everyone's favorite subplot. Shockingly, Evelyn Marsh and (indirectly) Malcolm Sloan and Jeffrey Marsh are all mentioned in this book. They're not characters I ever expected to hear about ever again. Anyway, Preston says something along the lines of how James skips town durin...

Re: S3: Biggest Disappointment About Unresolved Subplots?
Another thing I forgot to mention in my list above - what was up with Renault at the Roadhouse and the phone call about the two underage girls? Why was that left hanging?

Freddie, or Why the Wind was Sucked Out of the Sails
I thought Freddie was kind of a neat character. I don't know why, as important as he became, he didn't get more development time. We see him in Part 2 for a second, then we see him dump his whole backstory exposition style (ugh) and then suddenly he is the guy who destroys BOB. So about Freddie and ...

Re: S3: Biggest Disappointment About Unresolved Subplots?
There are so many things to mention: The importance/purpose of the hit-and-run death. It was a great sequence that never went anywhere. We see Andy talking to that random truck owner, but nothing ever happened. Who was that guy? Why is Andy such a terrible cop? What, if anything, did Carl Rodd do af...

Annie and Dale
While I did enjoy the ride of TPTR, there are a litany of things about it I find troubling, confusing, upsetting or downright silly. For the purposes of this thread, I'll stick with one issue, which is that of Annie. At the very least, we hear her name mentioned once by Hawk. Cool. But then after th...

Re: Part 6 - Don't die (SPOILERS)
I'll say it again since apparently my post got buried really fast. RE:Ratings SHOWTIME DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CABLE RATINGS. They are a subscriber network that happens to also allow subscriptions through traditional cable packages. Kind of like Netflix, they could not care less about advertising and ho...

Re: RE: Re: Part 6 - Don't die (SPOILERS)
At this point, I am definitely of the opinion that it was a mistake to not release two hours each week. This would have allowed for the plot to move forward a little more each week but also maintain Lynch's pace. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk THIS!!! The way the ratings are going, it...

Re: Part 6 - Don't die (SPOILERS)
Well, the killing scene won't do much to counter those who've been complaining about continued female victimisation. To be fair, she was in charge (in some way) of getting the original hit on Dougie completed. It seems like someone thought she failed and hired Ike to kill her and Dougie instead. So...
