Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18
Personally what I can't stand is when some people stand there and tell an author their life story and thus, some people towards the end of the line don't get to meet the author, etc. And this (along with people cutting in line) is why I missed getting Laura Harring's autograph at the Twin Peaks fes...

Reddit fan fiction writing contest - Win a signed copy of Frost's new book
Hi, Dugpa friends. I'm a moderator (/u/Iswitt) of the Twin Peaks subreddit over on Reddit. We just posted a contest thread there detailing a fan fiction writing contest event. The link to view these details is below. https://www.reddit.com/r/twinpeaks/comments/4wmqpj/official_rtwinpeaks_fan_fiction_...

Re: Planning to attend the 2016 Twin Peaks Fest?
Josh is ridiculous when it comes to TP knowledge. At the 2014 Fest I took his tour of the sites at Olallie State Park and was blown away by how much he knows.Mordeen wrote: I met Josh, if you're referring to the Josh with the encyclopedic knowledge of TP.

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18
Lynch has often played fast and loose on continuity. There's a fair bit in FWWM that does not bother to match the diary, for example, but that's his prerogative as one of the two central creators vs. spin-off materials he evidently had no interest in. There's a big difference between spinoff materi...

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18
I find the description of the book as a "novel" is weird if it only involves a load of documents, but it makes sense to do that. This year is passing really quickly, much quicker than I had feared! The book is nearly upon us, and I haven't even had time to start rewatching the series yet ...

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18
Or they just ret-conned Annie out altogether. Who knows.... If they did that I will be really pissed. Sure, not everyone loved Annie, but like it or not she played an important role in the end of season two, she had a brief appearance in the theatrical cut of FWWM and she was in the Missing Pieces....

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18
Seeing the tattoo from Briggs' neck makes me really happy. That came from the latter second season section of the series. I was afraid Frost and Lynch would generally ignore most of that stuff, but seeing this gives me hope that some of that stuff will be addressed somehow at least in the book.

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/
A friend just mentioned that Phillip Gerard's purported best friend, the veterinarian whose office was near the conveyance store, was named Bob Lydecker. He was also mentioned to be in a coma due to assault at the time of the first season. I think there is a small possibility he is the Robert menti...

Re: 'The Secret Lives of Twin Peaks' new novel by M. Frost 2
This formatting news regarding the book is actually mildly disappointing to me. I was hoping for a novel. But honestly I'll take what I can get.

Re: Worthiest Missing Piece?
With the exception of fulfilling the series' promise that "Bobby killed a guy" and Laura knew about it, this scene doesn't feel necessary to me. Even though it's a fantastic Lynch/Lee/Ashbrook scene, I think this should have been a missing piece along with all the other elements related t...

Re: Suggestions for episode 17 - 28 recap
Agree with the above pizza comment. I never recommend skipping any of the show. In fact, I particularly enjoy latter season 2 (and I've been crucified on reddit simply for saying so). The reason is that after the Laura plot wrapped up, I was very interested in simply watching what else was going on ...

Re: Introductions
Hello all. Just found out about this forum through /r/twinpeaks on reddit. I discovered Twin Peaks two years ago via Netflix. I'd heard about it numerous times since the release of 2010's Deadly Premonition for the Xbox 360 since all the reviews were comparing the game to the show. When I saw it on ...
