Ha! Good answer, I can only agree. I do find some irony in you referring to your interpretation as a solid one.

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

Funny you should mention - Picnic at Hanging Rock is actually exactly what it reminded me of at the time. I found those scenes gorgeous and spellbinding - and incredibly satisfying as a longtime fan, because I felt (and feel) certain that where that white-gold portal led, and where Andy was subsequ...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

This season was largely about Cooper confronting some hard truths about himself, and whatever happens to him from here on. That's what I've always figured the Return would be about, beforehand and throughout. However, have we ever had any real confrontations? Yes, Coop saw his doppelgänger on the f...

I Know Catherine, The Log Lady. Documentary kickstarter.

Title says it all. Check the link. Would be pretty cool if it could make it's goal. So far it's going pretty well, 8000 bucks in half a day. Do share with your fellow Twin Peaks geeks! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/historyofcool/i-know-catherine-the-log-lady/description "Join us today in...

Re: Why so little of Grace Zabriskie?

But that could still maybe be true, the frogmoth being more of a seed and Judy like a plant. This notion would also fit the glass box snuggly in to the equation.

Re: Why so little of Grace Zabriskie?

I wonder if there would ever have been any Sarah/Judy or a likewise plot would the series have continued in the 90s. Though she was always on the spiritual side, it's really hard to imagine the warm yet broken Sarah from the originals hosting a prime evil like Judy. Actually, due to the huge contras...

Re: Why so little of Grace Zabriskie?

Just enough. Actually, it's essentially quite similar to Laura's screen time/importance ratio (excluding FWWM).

Re: Script pages for "Part 8" and "Part 5"

So yes, this is a late draft. Seeing that shots that have been filmed have been lined, this is probably post-shooting. Quite a few old school directors like to work this way, drawing the lines while they shoot. Maybe Hurley had this version to work on sound editing with Lynch. This definitely looks ...

Re: Script pages for "Part 8" and "Part 5"

Great stuff! Let's hope that in the future there'll be more. And yes I recall some there being some tidbit about that poem. But wasn't it rather that Frost wrote it, which surprised us? Honestly, I've been obsessing over every little TP fact so much that it's gotten hard to keep them all straight. A...

And we end up with all the characters rejoicing in a LOST-finale-esque white lodge?

Re: Frost & Lynch nowadays

I think they're probably fine, good friends as always. If they're in touch a lot, talking or (gasp) even writing, they're probably the only ones to know since almost all their communication nowadays is through Skype.

Re: What's next? What chance do think there is we will see a season 4?

Probably the most crucial factor is L&F finding a story worth telling or not. An inner journey for Laura and Dale then? Truly coming in touch with every facet (especially the dark ones) of their souls through the Odessa verse? I mean, the doppelganger was destroyed and all, but did Cooper really...

Re: The Random Twin Peaks Thread

Nice!

This is still my favorite still from all of TP. A glimpse only shown by a single strobe flash. BOB mourning over Laura's corpse. Surely posted this before. [edit: ha! I did, a year ago, oh well, definitely woth a repost.]
