Thanks Evenreven!

I used a free program called MPEG Streamclip for the MAC and it converted the file into AIFF in about 2 seconds.

Great to have this edited version of the theme.

Not one of my favorite soundtracks as a "stand-alone"

BUT I think it does fit the film perfectly, so in that context it is a great soundtrack, especially the Rammstein and This Mortal Coil tracks.

He comes across more like Michael Bay jr. ...well I don't want to be judgemental but I think David Lynch brought a lot of himself to Dune, even if he doesn't admit it. And I can't picture Dune without Kyle as Pau...

No, same tracks.

If you compare the running times, you'll see that they are almost identical, give or take 30 seconds.

Went to see Lynch (One) and Eraserhead last night...both were phenomenal and with great sound but Eraserhead had so many scratches including one long, big one running down the center of the print. Still it was great to see Eraserhead on a big screen with a decent sound system. I had only seen it on ...

It's a really great sound design/mood CD. Not like Eraserhead. A little more like those ambient pieces in Mulholland Drive like when the the guy describes his dream at the diner and then sees the homeless man behind the wall... That sort of feeling yet something new. The Air Is On Fire: VII (Interio...
