Re: Parts 1 + 2 (SPOILERS)

when those netflix marvel shows come out people talk about them for like 2 days and then nobody but the super marvel nerds care. people will be talking about twin peaks all summer. Yes, exactly. That's my biggest issue with binge-watching; sometimes I like to do it myself but I can never talk to pe...

Re: Parts 3 + 4 (Spoilers)

In general, I am enjoying it. I can't wait for Cooper to get his memories back, because this Dougie stuff is quite frustrating. And Chrysta Bell as Tamara Preston is really grating on me; nothing like the character in Frost's book at all. Even four episodes in, it's still early to know what's really...

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017

I was thinking, since Frost's tweet to someone about them missing something if they slept this next week away waiting for the premiere, if maybe they'd release a scene from the first episode. Perhaps the first scene. Rather than a trailer, the first scene really only gives away the first scene. And ...

Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread

I wonder if they are saying 18 hours because they still don't know how many episodes it will be. Or they want to surprise us with the schedule.

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks

had to skip to the last few pages...so much disappointment about the books gaffes or whatever you want to call them THE BOOK IS AMAZING Yes, I think reading this thread in retrospect is pretty much a headache, as a lot of it is griping before the book came out without any idea of the context. Not u...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks

And I think Clark Desmond is a deliberate mistake, too. There's NO WAY a mistake like that is made in an audio book without it being deliberate. An actor just couldn't get away with that. But, as opposed to the visual clues in the book, an audio "mistake" like the wrong name is a clue into...

ForKeeps wrote:What error? FittenTrims just said he spelled it wrong, not Frost.
It was Ponds in the original series and Pons in the book. It's another deliberate discrepancy between book and show.

But see, isn't that another example of a deliberate error? Particularly one that he's always insisted was Pons.

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks

Nor can you avoid mentioning Annie in season three, when most people remember the closing scene of the original series was Cooper/BOB asking "How's Annie?" I think, even the most casual viewer, if they've revisited the show some time in the last few years, at least, will remember that clos...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks

EDIT: I haven't had a chance to dive much into the book yet, is Lana stated as the winner of Miss Twin Peaks 1989 in the actual book anywhere? Thanks for asking those questions of Frost! Very interesting. The book mentions Lana and Miss Twin Peaks but does not call her the winner. The winner is not...
