Re: Episode 9

I disagree with this. If Laura hadn't taken the ring, BOB may have taken her as a vessel, but she could still possibly be saved from his possession. By taking the ring, it guaranteed her death, from which there is no coming back from (season 3 excluded). She had already come to terms with the fact ...

Re: Episode 9

If it's the case that the ring ensures death though, why is Teresa not wearing it when she is killed? To further answer your question concerning Teresa, I think that it's a continuity error that Teresa isn't wearing the ring when she is murdered: http://i.imgur.com/0t6yOHJ.png In order for dirt to ...

Re: Episode 9

When the boy warned Laura that the "man behind the mask" is close and is looking for the book with the torn out pages, Ms. Chalfont gives her the picture that sucks Laura into a dream for the purpose of being given the ring so Bob couldn't use her body as a vessel, even though Coop mistak...

Re: Episode 9

My instinctive take on the corn bit with the Tremonds has always been that of younger and older predators in the animal kingdom, but it could also be a personal choice. Mrs. Tremond, the elder, either abstains out of some kind of horror or shame or is simply too old and weak to consume the garmonbo...

Re: A thought on Sarah Palmer

Back to Sarah, if Leland/BOB was regularly drugging her then again, those effects possibly last out too, and who's to say Leland wasn't drugging her more than we thought just to inhibit her. It may also suggest that's a reason Sarah is now able to deliver messages from the lodge, because she is no ...

Re: A thought on Sarah Palmer

My memory is a little fuzzy here, but wasn't the drugging of her tea foreshadowed earlier? Maybe as far back as season 1? I'm only on episode five of my current rewatch. Ha! I'm on ep. Four right now for about the hundredth time. I watched the first three yesterday, but the only connection I seem t...

Re: A thought on Sarah Palmer

She and Truman are the two characters I'm looking forward to catching up with the most. Sarah lost EVERYTHING. What does that do to you after 25 years? I hope she has a story arc of some kind where her life improves.. I'm assuming you don't have the blu-ray set with "The Missing Pieces"? ...

Re: Planning to attend the 2016 Twin Peaks Fest?

I would definitely make the trip out for that from the east coast. Good grief, I could use a vacation. If I wasn't ill Right now there's no doubt I'd be making arrangements.

Re: Music on original Season 1 DVD menus

It quite possibly could've been Angelo Badalamenti. As far as I know, he loved working with Lynch and I can see him jumping at the opportunity to create ambient music for the DVD.

Re: Episode 9

Well, creamed corn DEFINITELY represent "pain and sorrow" - as we learn from FWWM! But I don't think Lynch had that in mind when he made ep. 9. I think he just thought it looked cool & creepy, and figured it out later. In fact, I don't think he even knew what it was while he was shoot...
