That would be pretty wonderful. Keen to check out Other Side of the Wind too.

Re: Thought Gang Album Out November 2

I remember freeze framing Pretty as a Picture to read the lyrics that were visible! Haha, that's great, me too! Hadn’t heard “Salt Bird.” Great stuff, thanks! The music video on YouTube features masks that look eerily like the Jumping Man’s mask... I haven't actually watched the clip in years, but ...

Re: Thought Gang Album Out November 2

While we’re on the subject of obscure Lynch/Badalamenti musical arcana, not sure how many are familiar with this 1996 recording collaboration with Monty “The Cowboy” Montgomery’s then-wife Jocelyn West, “And Still.” It’s a beautiful song in the Julee Cruise vein, and notably mentions both a woodsma...

When I heard that sound at the very start of the new Peaks credits, my take was that it was an even more distorted/hidden version. It's a bit of a stretch, but that's what jumped in my head.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I remember him saying on the documentary that he didn't ever want to work with such time constraints again because there wasn't much time for exploration. Let's hope (for Lynch's sake at least) that if a new season does go ahead he gets time to live/swim in the world & really see what comes out...

Re: Silencio (Paris Club)

I’d put the screen on the small end, probably not much more than 20 foot wide. It’s a pretty intimate space. The chairs are actually sort of mini-couches that could seat two, maybe three people comfortably on each. There are four rows of those, three “seats” to a row, with little lamp tables in bet...

Re: Alan Wake Show Coming

In my estimation the game that was most like Twin Peaks was Silent Hill 2. Great, great game, although funnily enough I never really equated it with Twin Peaks (despite the -- after the fact -- obvious similarities). Great to hear your, bowisneski's & dreamshake's love of it. It affected me pre...

“Soirée X-plose" Great souvenir indeed. Nice work sneaking into the cinema too, that would've been pretty special! Neat story Mr R.

Re: The Random Season 3 Thread

mica (Mike?) I've written about this elsewhere on the board, but that was my reading, 'this is a formica table' = 'this is a for Mike table', ie: the garmonbozia on the table is for Mike, Bob is stealing/harvesting on the sly. Good pick-up on the electrical insulation / heat resistance! I like a sy...

Re: Phillip Jeffries imposter / Lost Highway connection?

I really like this idea Cappy! As you said, Cooper did appear briefly in the glass box, missing Mr C (& everyone else). I also think the Judy / Sarah interpretation fits -- & I can hear how that's very plausibly Grace's modulated voice -- but it's nice to think through this interpretation to...

Re: One year later - how are we feeling?

... it reminds me of a recurring dream I've had for awhile in which I'm riding a bicycle around my old neighborhood (a place I haven't, in reality, visited in years). In the dream, I'm an adult and there are no people around. Lots of parked cars, lots of houses. The little pond is still there. It l...

Re: Parts 3 & 4 - Call for help & ...brings back some memories (SPOILERS)

I can understand Mr. C outsourcing low level assassinations in order to free himself up for more important stuff, but eliminating Cooper would be absolute top priority, wouldn't it? The fact that Mr. C stays well away from him could imply that he is worried about the outcome of the meeting. One of ...

Very sad to hear this news, I'm hoping it doesn't pan out... :(
Although, from a 'glass half full' perspective, maybe this is early spoiler control for the next development in the world of Twin Peaks?
