Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I always think it is impossible to read too much into these responses, since everyone has their own way of not answering a question and throwing people off the scent (and it varies from day to day anyway). I still think something is afoot though. I've had that feeling ever since S3 ended, since it r...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Even if it is announced, I worry about the health of all involved as it progresses. None of us are getting any younger. My hope is that actually it wouldn't take as long to get to the screen this time since they aren't starting from "cold", and they probably sketched out ideas for S4 even ...

??

I love the new season, I was just being silly. I was simply saying "this made no sense, now it makes sense. Cooper's superimposed face will remain a glorious mystery".

Heh. Obviously I didn't know that Jerry has that account. This is now making more sense than Cooper's superimposed face though.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Actually, reading that again it seems completely innocuous. They are taking a break from tweeting until Feb 21st, but they would return earlier if there was any major news (e.g. a series announcement).

So that doesn't say anything about the probability of there being an announcement.

Ah, so I guessed right.

This is too much if it won't lead to something!

What is the TPA twitter? What did it say? Is it the Twin Peaks Archive?

Re: General Discussion on the New Series (All Opinions Welcome)

Something else to consider: The monumental secrecy surrounding S3 provided expert training in subterfuge, conspiracy and outright lying for all involved in the production! I don't trust any of them :-D

Re: The Random Twin Peaks Thread

Certainly is.

I've finished my rewatch now, and am just quietly hoping for more Peaks!

Watching Out 1 has definitely filled the gap though, and I'm also watching Sapphire and Steel for the first time which provides a nice dose of weirdness and WTF moments.

Re: General Discussion on the New Series (All Opinions Welcome)

I do find myself wondering more and more where Season 4 could go. We could see them trying to hunt for Cooper, but would yet another series where they try and find a lost Cooper be satisfying? Maybe I'm simply making peace with the ending- it hints at more story to come, but I'm not desperate to see...

Re: Part 17 - The past dictates the future (SPOILERS)

That's a great explanation. Everything in the run up to that scene seems super important and fixed by fate to me, but it was a confusing rush to follow. I swung from being very frustrated with Out 1 to loving it within the space of the first episode! The half hour improvisation with random moaning s...

Re: Part 17 - The past dictates the future (SPOILERS)

Lucy seemed to be confused that someone on the cell phone can be moving into the office when they should be out fishing (she doesn't get that they are portable). However, if there are in fact two versions of every person, then one can be on the phone whilst the other one is somewhere else. That's ho...

Re: 'Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier' Novel by Mark Frost 10/31 (SPOILERS)

This is my favourite article on the paradoxes of time travel: https://www.csus.edu/indiv/m/merlinos/paradoxes%20of%20time%20travel.pdf Definitely worth a read. I'm teaching general relativity at the moment, and there is certainly no problem theoretically in having time travel. Technologically it's c...
