What it does at least show, of course, is that they are all in contact at the moment (at least with Sabrina Sutherland probably), which means that it is possible that they could hear things that they are not telling us.

So do we assume that this is what Kimmy Robertson was referring to in July?

That should scotch the "imminent July announcement" rumours if so.

Re: What's next? What chance do think there is we will see a season 4?

True. Why is it that media phone hack scandals never involve the information you actually want? :-D I'm quietly hopeful now, and am channeling this energy into a S3 rewatch. I don't hold out much hope of hearing anything in the near future though. I'm also convinced that they ended S3 with a concret...

Re: Episode 29

Yes! I rewatched E29 the other night and, funnily enough, the same thought occurred. I can't think of anyone else who would be speaking.

Re: How would Lynch/Frost tackle Season Four?

Really loved that audio file. Great stuff, and fantastic to hear just before I start my S3 rewatch.

Re: What's next? What chance do think there is we will see a season 4?

The best thing you can do in your life is get an HD projector and paint a wall of your house white/hang a sheet/buy a cheap office screen. Use headphones instead of a sound system to save money. Your friends and family may not agree! Back in the day, I actually built a cheap projector by taking the ...

Re: What's next? What chance do think there is we will see a season 4?

A film would be great, and it would make me happier in some ways, since we'd get it sooner.

Re: One year later - how are we feeling?

Just rewatched the Pilot too. Still magic, but still a completely different show to S3! I found that knowing the later trajectory didn't prevent enjoyment of S1 though. Plus I totally forgot about the appearance of the chocolate bunnies. The series did look more dated than it had pre-S3. I had alway...

Re: One year later - how are we feeling?

So I watched FWWM for the first time since S3 last night, and it was epic! So much of what seemed like abstract atmosphere in the film when I watched it before now seemed more significant (e.g. the endless references to electricity and superimposed static). It really has been enhanced by S3, which I...

Re: One year later - how are we feeling?

I really struggled to let expectations go during the first watch and take in what I was seeing. Having seen a David Lynch art exhibition a couple of years back, I was more prepared for the visual look of the series, but it still struck me as extremely uncompromising, and almost designed to alienate ...

People have been speculating that they will wait until after some important date, then announce it, for which there is apparently a precedent.

I don't know what that date is though, or what the rules are.

Re: What's next? What chance do think there is we will see a season 4?

"Somebody I know was recently in a car with his wife, and she was talking about how much he enjoyed it and why he wanted to do more if there was ever more. He had never experienced anything like it. She didn't know that this person knew anything about Twin Peaks or anything, and she said that, ...

Re: One year later - how are we feeling?

You are definitely right on the missing pieces. TPTR seems to owe a huge amount to it. It's almost like Lynch edited TMP together to form the blueprint for S3. Makes sense I suppose- if you saturate yourself in that material, you immediately start thinking about where it would have gone next.

Re: How would Lynch/Frost tackle Season Four?

I find The Return much, much more comprehensible than Inland Empire. I can't even reliably get to the centre of the story in IE, whilst with The Return I have a range of theories, but it feels more plot driven. I really like IE, that's just my impression of it. All of which goes to show that there i...
