My favorite part of these two, I think, is the opening to Part 3, with its "glitching" motion. That's got to be Lynch deliberately taking advantage of the medium, and it's something I don't think has been utilized often enough. Sort of a modern day "backwards talking" equivalent...

I would highly recommend that those disappointed with the book listen to the Brad Dukes podcast that Mark was recently on. And then listen to it again. And then maybe a 3rd time.

Not sure if this has been posted yet but Mark was on the Brad Dukes podcast and talked about his approach for the book. He says some interesting things.
