Re: Script pages for "Part 8" and "Part 5"

Yeah, Mark previously mentioned the Woodsman's radio scene in this interview he did with Sam Esmail. . The relevant part is around 34:15. The poem... David actually wrote that himself, I think, on the set. We originally, in the script, I think, had him speaking a mechanical language. The key here is...

Script pages for "Part 8" and "Part 5"

Some select pages from the season 3 script (for the 1956 scenes in "Part 8" and Becky/Steven's scenes in "Part 5") were recently featured in this interview with Dean Hurley (see attachments below). Obviously it's not a whole lot, but damn interesting to even get a glimpse at the ...

Re: References in the Return to Lynch's Non-TP Works (SPOILERS)

I'd say it's more a coincidence than a deliberate reference, but Sarah Palmer watching a buffalo get killed on TV reminded me of Grace Zabriskie's character (Juana)'s "We hunt buffalo now" line in Wild at Heart.

Re: Parts 1 + 2 (Spoilers)

In the words of Denise Bryson: "bad news first." The visual effects were fairly amateur and the dialogue far too literal and fan servicey (especially doppelganger Coop telling Daria about the Lodge, Jeffries wanting to "be with BOB again" and MIKE explaining the Arm). The scenes ...

Re: Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread

Echoing others' posts here, I can't believe we're all about to experience Twin Peaks again. I'm half-expecting to wake up from a three-year-long dream just before the intro (if there even is one!) plays. Though I've been lurking in the shadows here, reading the hype, hope and the well-missed spoiler...

Ireland: Sky Atlantic. We're on the same schedule as the UK, as far as I know.

Re: Official Thread - Twin Peaks - Jan 13 - Kyle Returns Promo

Far as the original score goes, maybe Lynch himself has composed something - other than that, I don't think so. Lynch mentioned in a Skype session with an Israeli university (can't remember when, but it was obviously post-2014) that he and Dean Hurley were working on new music for Twin Peaks . Whet...

Re: Official Thread - Twin Peaks - Jan 13 - Kyle Returns Promo

I'll say it - if the footage of Gordon Cole and this new shot of Cooper are actual footage from the series, I'm disappointed. Something about the colour and lighting is a bit off to me - I can't quite put my finger on it. I'm still incredibly excited for the series, but I'm not a fan of the colour ...

I so want to be wrong, but I'm going to have to say no.

That said, I'm prepping a Nicky avatar just in case.

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks

Doing some research on Dougie Milford's 1947 (or should I say "I947") Buick receipt. As Coop would say, "there are some curious linkages here." Let's consider the theory that both the receipt and Ben-Catherine's mill contract are forgeries (as evidenced by the "I" in pl...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks

According to Bob Engels, MIKE and BOB fell out on December 31, 1951 after BOB stole a can of creamed corn. MIKE/Gerard references it during the road rage scene in Fire Walk with Me.

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks

Don't know if it's been mentioned, but the date of the Night of the Burning River incident is February 24, 1902. I'm not sure of the immediate connection (even if there is one) other than the fact it occurs on the same date as Laura's murder and the incident was accompanied by lightning/weather simi...

Re: SPOILERS: Inconsistencies in the Secret History of Twin Peaks

Some inconsistencies (I'm still reluctant to call them "errors" because I still believe most, but perhaps not all, are deliberate) around dates in the book and the series. March 23, 1989 In the book, Catherine signs the mill/Ghostwood lands over to Ben. In the series, we know it's Ben who ...

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18

Is the early release thing only happening in English-speaking countries so far????? I want to know if I'm in a bad situation and need to go looking for it although I preordered. Huh. Please answer. Thanks a huge bunch. One forum member found the Spanish-language version in Spain, so it's not just E...
