Re: The Ben & Jerry scene (SPOILERS)
Plus, we should all keep in mind that we've only seen 4 episodes, with 14 still to come, and the 4 we've seen are likely the 4 with the least connection to Twin Peaks, because they were the ones when Cooper was the most connected to the Black Lodge and the people who know Cooper were the most in the...

Yep; in fact, I think this theory is so good, I'm going to mentally adopt it as canon fact until/unless something clearly contradicts it. Thumbs-up!dronerstone wrote:SPOT ON about the AC/DC hypothesis being exactly the way Lynch thinks.

Re: Hawk at Glastonberry Grove? (SPOILERS)
It was a little weird that nothing seemed to happen, but sometimes that's how TP works. Hawk suspected something was happening, then we see inside the lodge. Dale begins his journey back to the real world. Something was happening, and Hawk was right to suspect the lodge, but he didn't actually get ...

Re: Theories & Speculation (SPOILERS)
I do not think Dougie is a ref to Dougie Milford, but I do think the implication is that somehow the doppelganger manufactured Dougie - an artificial person or golem - to be taken to the Lodge instead of him on this set date. The ring ensured that. I wonder if the name "Dougie" could be a...

Re: Theories & Speculation (SPOILERS)
A lot of repeating in the new Twin Peaks... 119 - said 4 times by the lady Ray - said 4 times by DoppelCoop at the restaurant...do you use a person's name when talking to them while your sitting at the same table...?? The evolution of the arm says BOB-3 times The name Bill has appeared 3 times- I s...

Re: What happened to Donna? (Casting Spoilers)
Lisa Coronado, I think. I'm really stoked at the possibility of Donna being re-cast yet again, it would be very in line with the spirit of the show and film, and that she has a big part. Say what you want about the character in the original series, but she's important and would be really fascinatin...

Re: Twin Peaks: The Missing Music
I think music is a very human thing, and thus far, scenes have largely involved/focussed on non-human spirits. I think as the series progresses, and the viewers become more enmeshed in the world of humans and human problems again, the amount of music in the soundtrack will increase.

Re: References in the Return to Lynch's Non-TP Works (SPOILERS)
Patrick Fischler's line, "You better hope you never get involved with someone like him," reminded me very much of his line as Dan in Mulholland Dr. where he says, "I hope that I never see that face, ever, outside of a dream."

Re: References in the Return to Lynch's Non-TP Works (SPOILERS)
Both Robert Forster and Brent Briscoe play lawmen, as they did in Mulholland Dr. Even though they're in different locations, I wouldn't be surprised to see them in a scene together before the season is over.

That was absolutely my immediate impression when he said it: that she was not actually human herself.WalrusSAS wrote:Bad Dale states that she follows "human nature perfectly." Is he being dismissive of her humanity, or implying that she is inhabited by a lodge spirit?

Re: Theories & Speculation (SPOILERS)
Just watched part 4 again and at the end Gordon says to Albert that there's one person that should look at Cooper before they make a decision on it being a blue rose case. Who do we think that is or am I missing something and it's obvious? Albert also says he knows where she drinks, and then the ne...

The first line of TP's central mystery
It's always struck me as odd. The very first line that really introduces us to the mystery is Pete calling Harry and saying, "She's dead. Wrapped in plastic." Then Harry replies, "Whoa, hang on, Pete. Hang on a second. Where?" What's odd about it (to me)? Pete's line seems to imp...
