Still gives me the creeps!
The Brood is really good. Although I think Videodrome and The Fly are his best works, maybe also Spider and A History of Violence.

Wants:
Twin Peaks movie
New Lynch movie

Expects:
1. Cronenberg movie (hopefully)

It would be so great to have both Davids in competition.

There were news that Scorsese will do some reshoots in May for his movie. So I guess we can rule him out.

TP:TR changed my life. I have watched it about 15 times now and am still stunned by it. It is not without flaws, but for me it is the greatest artistic achievement of the 21st century.

Twin Peaks was named the 2nd best film (!) of the year on Sight & Sound’s list of best films of 2017. http://www.bfi.org.uk/features/best-films-2017/ http://www.metacritic.com/feature/critics-pick-the-top-10-best-tv-shows-of-2017?ref=hp And currently holds the number one spot with tv critics. T...

Re: 'Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier' Novel by Mark Frost 10/31 (SPOILERS)

I really enjoyed TFD. What I found most interesting is that Preston's research was still based on Laura being killed by BOB/Leland. And she's never seen Agent Cooper or Diane since Coop went into the boiler room. So if I'm interpreting this correctly, Cooper's 430 mile trip occurred in a second &qu...

Re: Season 3 Magazine Coverage and Articles Worldwide

o/t: If they do more, and that's a big if with the number of cast members that have past away in the last few years, they should do one last filming of about 26 hours and split it up over two seasons. Given the age of some of the cast members and frankly Lynch himself, it's now or never. 4 of the 5...

Sabrina Sutherland clarified this on @TwinPeaksUnwrap. Showtime tacked it on for marketing. David and the crew have always called it S3!
Really good. It was always season 3 for me and nothing else.

Re: FINAL POLL!!!!!!! Your Reaction to The Return as a Complete Work

Where are the clichés? I didn't notice any. Where was the fan service? I didn't see any. Where was the originality? In every blinking moment! From someone who is pained by conventional plotting and storytelling, I bow down to this creation. I know the source, I know the pedigree, I trust appreciati...

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)

Genuinely astonished by how many people there are that didn't enjoy 18, to the point where there are multiple posters claiming they're in tears at how awful it was. I'd rate it as my second favourite episode of The Return after 8. Loved it. I think tonight's reaction is almost identical to what I r...

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)

The mystery continues. This is the way it should be. 1000% agree. I'm happy not knowing. Once we unpacked all the pieces, it started to make less and less sense coming together as a big picture. From the beginning, this show has been a murder mystery. I'm oddly satisfied not getting the answers. Ju...

I refuse to say goodbye. My hopes are still there for a 4th season. So I'll keep my fingers crossed that we can soon talk about, how another season will map out.

I'll keep my fingers crossed. That is one of the very few complaints I have about this season. I need more Ray Wise.
