Did anyone else recognize the music from "The Grandmother" short? It plays briefly, early in the film just after the Marilyn Levens Show appearance. I knew I'd heard it before but it took me a minute to figure out where.

Mine doesn't have a "booklet", but it did come with an insert: The top half is an ad for Lynch's coffee, the bottom half an ad for Lynch One (the back of the sheet is blank). Is this not showing up in other copies?

I got mine at Best Buy and the cover seems almost identical to the one pictured on Amazon and in ads, though maybe a little darker and with the gold "2-Disk Special Edition" band across the bottom. However, I stopped in at a local Wal Mart and the cover they had was completely different--a...

After much deliberation I chose THE STRAIGHT STORY. Loved it the first time, but with each viewing it becomes more moving and more perfect. And despite its G rating, this is pure, undeniable Lynch.

The 2-hour second season premiere was on a Sunday, then the show went directly to Saturdays and stayed there through episode 23 (the one that ended with Josie and the drawer knob). Then the show disappeared for about a month and a half while ABC pondered what to do with it and its declining ratings....

Diane Keaton is one of my favorite actresses, but not one of my favorite TP directors. I always felt episode 22 was wildly over-directed. The slo-mo effect was overdone to the point of irritation. However, I did like the door that continues to swing in the scene with Cooper and Pete.
