Re: 'Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier' Novel by Mark Frost 10/31 (SPOILERS)

Just finished the book the other day, and although it's a little slighter than I thought it would be, I still really enjoyed it. The tragedies of Annie and Audrey were particularly poignant to me and felt tonally in line with what I expected. I'd still love to know whatever happened to Chester Desm...

Re: Criterion edition 10/17/17

Even though there is no comparison to the CBS set, here's an excellent Criterion's FWWM review from BluRay.com (most reliable Blu Ray website): http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Twin-Peaks-Fire-Walk-with-Me-Blu-ray/183919/#Review I love Angelo, but I anticipate that this interview will be him telling t...

Re: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Blu-ray 12/5/17

In terms of data/time, how much space for extras would there be? It would all depend on how they split the content up on the discs. We could get 4 episodes on a disc which could leave room for two and a half discs worth of special features. Or they could do 3 episodes a disc with featurettes on eve...

Mr. Reindeer wrote:Grace, but Russ Tamblyn deserves honorable mention. At 80+ years old, he has incredible energy; I kept expecting the dude to have a heart attack onscreen given how worked-up he got.

Uhhhhhhh you do know he was recovering from heart surgery right before the show went into production, right?

Re: Poll: Do You Understand Now Why S.F. was pissed about her role in The Return?

Or perhaps, Fenn assumed that the show coming back would mean that the formula and format of the original run would remain intact and would guarantee her a large role, but like most of the returning cast members her's and their roles were more peripheral this go around(albeit thematically significan...

Re: The Return Soundtrack - a complete track list?

Hi everyone, apologies in advance for Albert and if this has already been discussed. Has anyone been keeping track of all the background/incidental soundtrack music in The Return? I'm trying to compile a complete list of music that featured in the new show. Specifically, music that is not included ...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

When Bobby kills Cliff Howard in FWWM, and Laura keeps telling him "You killed Mike!", he yells at her, "That' isn't fucking Mike!", and then suddenly hesitant and doubtful looks back at the body and says "Is it Mike?" That's exactly like Hawk saying "It isn't abo...

Which musicians are left at this point? I know Cruise and Vedder but who else? Can't remember. The Veils. Just released a phenomenal album last year: Total Depravity. Lots of connections with the new season can be found on it. Really hope In The Nightfall is the song performed. It's got such a Peak...

I've not been able to read every page because of how much this episode has been sizzling, but I wanted to mention how, after Andy exists the portal, that Frank, Hawk, and Bobby arrive at their standing places around Jack Rabbit's Palace while cross fading from several different takes that have them ...

About the Jeffries scene: The part where he walks in is from Fire Walk with Me and the part where he says the line is from The Missing Pieces. Apart from the line difference in both versions there is a difference with where Jeffries is looking at. In the movie he doesn't get his yes off Cooper at a...

It's easier to see the glitchyness of it in this animated and brightened gif. Ignore the blocky compression artifacts and see how Ed's reflection abruptly jumps between different postures. https://media.giphy.com/media/l41JJZG5Op5eQF7sA/giphy.gif Seeing it like this has me more convinced that what ...

Re: Part 12 - Let's rock (SPOILERS)

As far as repeated bands go, I really feel like it's an indicator that we don't know in Twin Peaks what is future and what is past. Or it could just be that Lynch preferred scenes to be ordered differently in the edit than in the script. We won't know until it's over. But until then I'm highly suspi...
