Re: Poll: Do You Understand Now Why S.F. was pissed about her role in The Return?
"So being back in there, there was a road to get there that we had to walk on. Because it was happening, and then it wasn’t happening, and then it was happening… and I had some frustrations dealing with the whole show, with David, I just had feelings about it. So finally we came to terms with w...

And honestly, we don't even know IF that's the reason he does it -- the motivation is never really even hinted at, and all we can do is speculate. Which makes the wiping-out of all that came before even worse -- we can only hazard a guess as to WHY it's even done in the first place! It's not even c...

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)
Again, I don't want this to devolve into Sherilyn-bashing or reliving the pre-production/production drama around it, but I just can't help but feel like all of those real-life elements conspired in Audrey's story (or at least some of the dialogue she's been given). " The "angry tweets&quo...

Re: Season 3 Timeline (SPOILERS)
But then again, of course, maybe Lynch just wanted to put a piece of Au Revoir Simone right here, for the feeling... why not? He has to come up with ways to make the exact runtime (the alternative was to have uneven parts, but obviously for reasons his own Lynch and Showtime opted not to do that). ...

Re: Part 8 - Gotta light? (SPOILERS)
Oh my gosh, all you people who think Hawk at Glastonbury Grove is a flash-forward, you are WRONG. I don't know why this theory is so popular. I have to have read 50 different people say this on this website. And everybody says the exact same thing: he didn't mention it to anybody! So it's a flash f...

Re: Part 8 - Gotta light? (SPOILERS)
About the flash forward theory... forgive me if it's already been brought up but the man from the insurance agency who wants to speak to Sheriff Truman in episode one only makes sense if it's a flash forward... or it was just a device to let us know there are two sherif Trumans... *shrugs* I have n...

In Cole's office, there are three pieces of "artwork". The huge picture of the White Sands nuclear test, a portrait of Franz Kafka, and a painting of a cob of corn. - Kafka, the Metamorphosis, a man wakes up transformed into a bug/parasite. The New Mexican girl becomes the host of a parasi...

Jacoby not being a doctor anymore. But he's still credited as "Dr. Lawrence Jacoby"! Is it possible his psychiatry license was revoked but he'a still technically an MD? I wonder how Mark's reveal of Frank Truman, hints at Briggs's fate, etc. in the book meshed with the NDA. I guess tie-in...

Re: Product Placement in 2017 Twin Peaks (Spoilers)
None of this feels to me like product placement, and if I had any doubt about that, Janey-E's anti Ford rant absolutely convinced me. This is Lynch absolutely ignoring TV conventions, and Showtime letting him do it. It's become world where lawyers get afraid of their shadow and productions try to mo...

Re: S3 Episode 1 fully re-edited (with old music)
Most of the original music doesn't fit, Lynch made the right decision. It needs to be used very carefully in specific scenes. Especially Laura Palmer's theme in the NY scenes not only feels out of place but also kills the mood. Some of the edits here are very rushed too, especially the first Sherif...

Re: Which scene was the biggest time waster? (SPOLIERS)
The shovels had a big pay-off later. The scenes also had two major functions. One was to offer us a "damn strange" and uncomfortable return to Twin Peaks. It was filmed mostly from afar and through the trees, with an ominous sound design that was a great departure from the ambiance of the ...

Did Andy's wrist watch show that it was the 10th day of a month? It did. But Andy may not know how to set a watch. He also may have stood there for many days waiting for the guy to show up. It's not inconceivable that we've now skipped ahead to October 10 (it would explain how the key got fro...

And I'd guess that international providers also aren't counted in the Nielsen rating system, but that one I'm not sure about. Most definitely not, US only The Live+30 numbers aren't even out either. The show got sold in 38 countries (and what filtered is that Showtime drove a hard bargain), and mor...

Call me crazy, but did anyone else find the Albert/Diane exchange a little strange... like there is also something else going on there. She didn't exactly seem that surprised to see him. Am I missing something? The way Cole put this, asking Albert if he still knew where she lived, it looks like the...

Re: Part 6 - Don't die (SPOILERS)
Clearly Coop is in no condition to defend himself so I'm a little concerned the newly assertive J-E will step in to save him in the event of an assassination attempt. The dwarf has been given the address of Dougie's workplace. I guess he might come to attack Dougie while he's away with Janey-E to s...
