Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

So here's a question: now that Jeffries has been sort of revealed, and his relationship with Mr C has been given a bit more light: what do we now make of Albert's confession back in Part 4 about Jeffries. Just looked back at that scene and it has Albert saying that Jeffries called Albert and that Al...

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

So how was Richard Horne able to find DoppelCoop just based on an old photo his mother had? This guy is good! He's making the FBI look bad. Gordon Cole really needs to hire him. I think the idea is that he followed him after witnessing him kill Ray at the Farm. BUT: I wonder if Richard was also abl...

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

I loved the Jeffries scene (and his "teapot" replacement -- though isn't kind of like the weird vessel sounding the alarm in the Dido/Fireman scene from Part 8?) -- but also can't help but wonder how incredible that DoppelCoop/Jeffries meeting scene would have been had Bowie been around t...

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

I love The Return, but the absence of Bowie and MJA are always going to be sore points. It's very bittersweet, especially as it combines with the general sadness about the death of Bowie. On the other hand, we had what turned out to be miraculous appearances by Catherine Coulson, Warren Frost, and ...

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

I just knew when that scene started that Audrey was not gonna get out the door. So what "family" was Norma talking about? I thought for a second she was going to mention having a sister. Did she just mean the "family" of her diner employees and customers? She meant Ed you big lu...

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

Wow these late episode are just going into overdrive. I loved part 15! The convenience store stuff (the "Dutchman's" as reference by Ray, to be clear?) was just fantastic. I'm still wondering if the relationship between this, the Woodsmen, and the Black Lodge is much more complicated than ...

Re: Part 14 - We are like the dreamer (SPOILERS)

And BTW: what the HELL is up with TSHOTP in relation to Season 3? At this point the whole premise of the dossier case doesn't fit in any way whatsoever with the story. Guess it doesn't have to in the end. But it's not even close. What's the case that produced the dossier? When did Tammy learn about...

Re: Part 14 - We are like the dreamer (SPOILERS)

As someone who has found the overt exposition and de-mystification of stuff like the Blue Rose a tad off-putting, I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the bit of backstory about Cole and Jeffries on the Lois Duffy case. It's fun (and sort of hilarious) to imagine 30-year-old Lynch and Bowie as fresh-fac...

Re: Part 14 - We are like the dreamer (SPOILERS)

Further up the thread, some people had questions about whether the Fireman is indeed the same being as the Giant. I'm not sure one way or the other (or ultimately whether that will matter in the end) -- but I find it kind of interesting that all of the Giant's appearances in this season have him in ...

Re: Part 14 - We are like the dreamer (SPOILERS)

The stuff with Andy this episode has been a really interesting left turn. I really like how they showed that, when it comes down to it, Andy's bumbling goofiness is really only the surface of someone who's deeply and sincerely caring and capable. He goes right to Naidoo and kneels down to assist her...

Re: Part 14 - We are like the dreamer (SPOILERS)

I think Diane was supposed to direct Gordon and the team to Jane-E and Dougie and i have a feeling it's part of a bigger ploy. Remember when Mr. C asked Diane via text messsage if there were news about Vegas? yeah, this confirms to me that Diane and Mr. C have all well planned out and i don't belie...

Re: Part 14 - We are like the dreamer (SPOILERS)

Any ideas as to why Frank would tell Cole about the missing pages and their reference to Cooper, but NOT the info about Jack Rabbit's Palace, given its major connections to Cooper and Briggs?

Re: Part 14 - We are like the dreamer (SPOILERS)

Wow -- instant classic TP episode. I'm reeling from all the cool stuff in here just as much as everyone else. The Janey-E + Diane connection is a pretty huge reveal, and I definitely did NOT see that coming. Interesting though that from her reaction in the FBI meeting, she seemed sorta on their side...

Re: Part 13 - What story is that, Charlie? (SPOILERS)

Personally, I'm not in the crowd that thinks L/F were expertly at ease with and in control of managing this vast multitude of plot threads and characters. It more comes across to me like they've desperately wrestled with all of this along with the often conflicting needs of major variables such as ...
