Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?
It's likely all gonna come down to Lynch and Frost agreeing on an idea to move forward. They had been discussing Season 3 for a year before they could agree on a framework to look forward. Only the inner circle knows how close or far they are to that point with Season 4. You mean the inner circle t...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?
This is just blind speculation on my part, but I wonder if the all the CBS/Viacom merger stuff would potentially be hindering any talks with Lynch/Frost over a new season. The fact that Showtime canceled Ray Donovan seems to not bode well for the chances of a Season 4, I think. Also, the reports of...

Re: 'Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier' Novel by Mark Frost 10/31 (SPOILERS)
I think L/F were on the same page about 1956 girl being Sarah...probably. But DKL made a very deliberate choice not to directly spell it out, and I tend to think he wouldn’t be thrilled with the book doing so. And I doubt he approved this or any aspect of the book. As of a few weeks ago, Sabrina sa...

Re: 'Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier' Novel by Mark Frost 10/31 (SPOILERS)
We know based on statements he made in the past that, at least at certain points in history, he had simply not bothered to read the Peaks books. I seriously doubt he's read MLMT or the Access Guide or bothered to listen to the "Diane..." audio book. Likewise, it seems unlikely that he's r...

How about the reveal that the young Girl from episode 8 was indeed Sarah Palmer? And that her middle name is Judith...
Also wondering why the Log Lady's name is given as Margaret Coulsen. Could that possibly just be a hideous mistake? Not sure what to make of it.

The Annie epilogue is corny to the point of being embarrassing. If that was Mark's best idea for her, I'm glad she was just swept aside in Season 3.
Interested in reading more tonight though. Particularly the back third of the book.

Laughed out loud at the idea of the 'profoundly disappointed' reuniting again in Valhalla.

Re: Part 8 - Gotta light? (SPOILERS)
Throughout this rewatch, I've been thinking about the later reveal that Ray was an FBI informant. This has seemed a bit off/convoluted to me ever since it was revealed, and I'm still not really sure it holds together. So, Ray was reporting to Gordon, but Gordon was seemingly totally unaware that Ra...

What the heck are the owls? As far as the owls go, seems like that has all but been dropped from the Twin Peaks mythology. Well, they were shown to be connected with Bob in the original run, weren't they? Not expecting more of an explanation than that. And not that it makes it any clearer, but Coop...

Absolutely. If somebody isn't happy with this material, then they can easily go and watch one of the many other outstanding television shows currently in production such as: . . . . . umhh. A little help here?? Out of curiosity, have you given Mr. Robot, Atlanta, Better Call Saul, Louie, Farg...

Think you did a great job of summing up what was great about the Las Vegas storyline, which my girlfriend and I enjoyed throughout. I agree that this was a brilliant way to AVOID fan service, while simultaneously reveling in it, uniquely and interestingly. One thing I wish we could do though, is sto...

Re: Poll: Criticism of The Return
The dropped storylines are the only thing that bothers me. And not because I think it reflects carelessness on Mark and David's part, either. I feel like there was a lot of purpose behind everything they did, and since I can't understand their intentions with these side-stories, it's making me feel ...

Re: S3 blu/dvd announced
It's far from conclusive, but I'm still getting very excited about this being "The Third Season," when it easily could've been dubbed "The Return" or (gulp) "The Final Season." Wonder if another season could be announced this year, or if holiday season sales figures on ...
