They should have ended the finale with the song from Cocteau Twins: Know who you are at every age.

That captures the final realization of Cooper.

So the Room James walks in, is that the same room where in the original ending of the original pilot bob was found with a circle of candles citing his chant about his deathbag?

I really think that place in the great northern has some significance as the humming seems to come from that room.

Dougie Coop has the power to set right what is wrong. I mean he made someone has a change of heart by giving a massage (unlike the face massage evil Coop gave that led to death).

Think of it this way: the original series has a massive fan-base. After the original run, a movie is being made. Everyone get's excited. David Lynch however doesn't go back to the feeling of the series (quirky, loveble etc). Instead goes to a prequel with a much darker tone. Now all these years late...

This show will end with cooper awakenig. Everybody stands there looking at him and ask him: What the hell happened to you?! He replies: Let me tell you about a dream I had. End of the show..... I'm sure of it

So the log lady says Laura is the one to Hawk. My guess is Hawk will be in a position where both Coopers are. Nobody knows who's the real one. Hawk will see a vision of Laura and make the right call. Maybe resulting in bad Cooper being sent back into the black lodge?

I just watched episode 1. I'm so happy, I can't explin it. It is Twin Peaks, it is finally something new from Lynch, it is awesome!

Love the almost avant-garde feel it has.
