Re: Podcast with Matt Haley
Yeah, I knew about that quote. My guess is that Lynch only answered half the question, as is common when journalists ask two questions at once. (I've been guilty of that myself, and the answers often sound weird upon playback.)

Re: Podcast with Matt Haley
There has been so much confusion over the years about when exactly did Lynch shoot WAH. Some rumours are more stupid than others. WaH debuted at the Cannes festival and won the Palme d'or in May 1990 . At this point, the second season of Twin Peaks wasn't even, or had just been, greenlit (IIRC, Fro...

Re: Questions about the production of Twin Peaks
Frost speaks of a "skeletal production staff" and filming all seven episodes in 49 days. I don't know how accurate this is. But if 49 days is to be believed, that's significantly less than other ABC shows from the same era. I'm pretty sure every Dynasty episode (which was cancelled that sa...

Re: Press conference at Cannes
Nice clip. There's a hint of Australian in Watts' accent, possibly, but that sounds pretty much British to me. No wonder, considering she didn't move to Australia until her teens.
But yeah, she's smokin' hot.

Amazing. I loved it as it was, but the backgrounds on the locations are really cool and it's easier to navigate on the site now.

Re: Lynch really busy with Wild At Heart?
But to the bigger question - It's been the official party line for years that WAH kept Lynch from the second season, and I agree with all the points everyone here made - he was well finished shooting and promoting WAH by the second season, and more, he was IN a lot of the second season, so... here'...

Re: If there ever was a season 3 what would happen?
That's the general idea, in addition to Engels saying that there would be a scene of Truman driving Mike backwards through the portal at Glastonbury Grove. Which sounds... interesting. I've started to believe - after they "let's talk changes" thread - that Frost and Lynch should have just ...

Agreed. Music looooong out-of-print is fair game as long as you buy the CD if it comes out.
I'll check out the film too. Thanks.

Re: giallo soundtracks
Completely agree. I have the three Beat at Cinecittà collections, and they're great, though I suspect many of the films are not.
Is Mrs Wardh available on CD anywhere? I can't find it in print. (Maybe I'm just not looking in the right place.)

Re: giallo soundtracks
Nora Orlandi is a woman, and one of the few essential female soundtrack composers - hell, one of the few period. She also had a parallel career as a pop singer. Sometimes the two paths met, as in the title song to A Doppia faccia, which she both wrote and sings on. I'll check out the Signora Wardh s...
