Re: Cry for help: First supernatural event by Laura?

Fair enough, I just think it's kinda ludicrous to bring Carrie Page into it is all. Well, obviously I don’t meant that in 1989 Lynch had Carrie Page in his mind (who knows?!? ;) ). However some things might work retroactively. It is possible that he had the idea that Laura was special in a su...

Re: Episode 2

Finished a rewatch of Episode 2. Best episode of the first season, after the Pilot. I always liked Episode 2 (or 1, if we're gonna refer to the pilot as episode 0) better than the pilot. Cooper's personality doesn't fully shine through until this episode, he's a bit more of a hardass in the pilot.....

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

SpookyDollhouse, are you of the "profoundly disappointed" or just plain "disappointed" viewpoint? I mention this because it seems almost every post of yours I've seen in this thread is kinda antagonistic towards the disappointed. Just an observation, I'm not bothered by it and ma...

Re: Sam Esmail interviews Mark Frost

I suppose "I'll see you again in 25 years" is too obvious to be this "Way back in". Wonder what it could be. Judy? Though Frost wasn't involved in FWWM. Evil Cooper cliffhanger? Well that was already a given anyway... HMM

Re: New Stand-alone Parts of Twin Peaks?

I would love the secret history to be made into a series/movie I would also love this! Young Dougie Milford is so awesome, Frost made that character so interesting. Love him in the audiobook especially :) Apparently there's been plans in the past by people to make a TV series based on Jack Parsons'...

In the Reddit AMA today Frost mentioned that this book may have an unreliable narrator. Assuming he is referring to Diane's Tulpa 8)

Re: 'Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier' Novel by Mark Frost 10/31 (SPOILERS)

The motive to mate with Judy to bring about the end of the world. But didn't that already kinda happen with Sarah/Joudy mating with Leland/BOB to produce Laura? Why would a union with the Double/BOB and Sarah/Joudy be any more calamitous than that? The only explanation I can think of is that the Do...

Anybody heard about some people (apparently) already getting copies of this book? Has that happened to anyone here? Certainly don't want to hear anything about the book, just wondering.

Re: Movie

I have a theory that they filmed a bit more than the 18 hours that they released and they're going to surprise us with a ~2 hour movie in the near future. Or maybe something special on the Blu-Ray/DVD release. We'll see soon!

Re: Mark Frost's Contributions to TP:TR (Speculation)

TSHoTP didn't exist when shooting began. Mark was writing it concurrent with filming. But yes, DKL has said he doesn't have any interest in reading the book. Thanks for clarifying that. However, with this being the case (at least as far as I can ascertain) it seems to me his level of input into Sea...

Re: Mark Frost's Contributions to TP:TR (Speculation)

*I can't remember where but wasn't there a report that David Lynch didn't read TSHoP before shooting began? TSHoTP didn't exist when shooting began. Mark was writing it concurrent with filming. But yes, DKL has said he doesn't have any interest in reading the book. It really gets my goat that Lynch...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

I did enjoy watching The Return, but I am definitely one of those people is a more of a TP fan before being a Lynch fan. I enjoy the comfy wackiness of the original more than the grim modern despair of The Return. And the verbose, fast paced writing of Frost, Peyton and Engels. I really think the wr...

Re: Twin Peaks at SDCC 2017 (DO NOT DISCUSS PART 11 HERE)

Thanks to Jeep for sharing these videos! On the one hand, I thought there were some really lame questions - why would someone who hasn't seen the show attend the panel and ask a question?! (I guess the guy was a Dune fan). But on the other hand, I'm guessing the actors aren't allowed to speculate o...
