Re: Has there been an email campaign to Criterion about FWWM?

Thanks for the information. I personally would prefer an extended cut, but it's Lynch's film.

Re: Has there been an email campaign to Criterion about FWWM?

One thing I have realized over the years is that FWWM has somewhat polarized Twin Peaks fans. The casual fan who didn't like FWWM is very unlikely to read the entire FWWM shooting script to ever find out how amazing some of these scenes actually are and furthermore how much of the tone of the TV Se...

Re: Nike to Release Twin Peaks Inspired Shoes

Interesting collectible item...the insert is cool, but I'm not a fan of the exterior.

TP Cards + Google = Awesome Screen Saver

Google has a FREE screen saver that displays images on your computer (or elsewhere). I pointed the program to my folder with the trading card images and...PRESTO! This is a screen capture of my screen saver. This is the "collage" option. There are three additional display options. http://i...

Re: The X-Files: I Want to Believe

Yep, it looks like this will be the final X-Files film. Bummer.

How do you feel about Fire Walk With Me?

I'm interested to see how people feel about Fire Walk With Me. It seems like opinions vary widely. While I appreciate Sheryl Lee's performance as Laura Palmer, I miss watching Dale Cooper as protagonist. And it's hard to explain, but Fire Walk With Me just doesn't feel like Twin Peaks to me. It has ...

Re: The X-Files: I Want to Believe

When I purchased the Mythology DVD sets at Best Buy last week, I received free passes to this film, and I attended a showing several hours ago. As critics have stated, the film is essentially an extended television episode, and its scope is fairly limited. Some people go missing in West Virginia, an...

Funny, I just watched this movie for the first time about a week ago. I immediately recognized MacLachlan as well. His character kind of disappeared during the second half of the film, unfortunately. The film itself was interesting, but I am disappointed that I didn't gain more insight into the inne...

I was only 10 when Twin Peaks first aired, and I don't believe that I was even aware of the show. Even if I would have been, I doubt my parents would have allowed me to watch it. I first watched Twin Peaks when the season 1 DVD set was released. Then I rented tapes at Hollywood Video, but I only wat...

Someone linked to this video in another thread. It is quite clever and funny. I personally enjoyed watching it much more than the SNL skit.

As I said in another thread, if Laura's killer HAD to be revealed during the second season, it should have been done at or very near the end. I'm open to the viewpoints of other people on a lot of topics, but revealing the killer mid-season was, without a doubt, an utterly nonsensical, bone-headed m...

I meant that I'm glad they weren't included IN THE GOLD BOX SET. I used to own the season one set, but I sold it several years ago because I heard a rumor that the second season was never going to come out. I've been considering re-buying it for the extra features though.

I agree that people should be able to come to their own conclusions about the second season. However, that said, I also agree with the author of this thread that the quality of the show took a nosedive after episode 16. I will almost certainly skip ahead after watching episode 16. Right now I'm on e...

I think "previously on..." and "next on..." segments are annoying. I'm glad that they weren't included.
