Re: The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer Re-Release Pre-Order No

I went to check the availability on Amazon's Canadian site and besides the regular version this one was also listed. It says it's not yet been released, I wonder if we Canadians will be able to buy both. The title looks a little strange though, is this her mother's diary? :) http://img542.imageshack...

Hi, my name is Kevin, I'm a graphic designer and I live in Canada. Before I became a designer I worked for HMV for 14 years. I like to collect old lp's for their cover art, vintage toys, and into low brow art, tiki, hot rod and tattoo culture. I have been a David Lynch fan since first seeing Eraserh...

Jonah, I know what you mean about shipping. I used to sell stuff on ebay and when I sold to people in Europe the shipping charges were crazy. Even for Canadians shipping to the US it's hard to compete because of our postal rates. I was a fan of the show when I watched it during its initial run on tv...

A few more items. Sherilyn Fenn poster. I also remember there being offered a Madchen Amick one (don't know why I didn't buy it, don't think I had a lot of money at the time) as well as mini poster versions of the two. http://img181.imageshack.us/img181/3284/sherilynfenn2wh7.jpg A poster Sheryl Lee ...

So, the HMV edition has an exclusive slipcase?
Does it look like the Virgin one?

Anyone speak German?

Right.
The black and white is from Virgin UK and Fnac in France.
The cover above it is from UK outlets Amazon, Optimum, Play.com.
Curious to know what other countries got.

That's the thing. Going over previous posts people are finding different covers at the same place, so location doesn't necessarily guarantee a particular cover. Here are six different covers I have come up with. Has anyone seen a different one? http://img234.imageshack.us/img234/488/inlandcoversyi1....

Hey, barryconvex, you're right! I have one of those, but I don't remember getting an address in Twin Peaks. Any of you remember when you could call an 800 number and Lucy would update you on what was happening in Twin Peaks?!?! My address was 2033 Church Lane. Here's my welcome letter with resident...

Lots of cool stuff people have. Nice to see a lot of the props didn't end up in the garbage. Here are some music related items I have. Where were you on 9/18/86? I think I first saw BV on VHS. I became familiar with DL's work on Twin Peaks and wanted to see what else he had done. Wow! I was sitting in the theatre watching Blue Velvet, although probably not opening day. I had become a David Lynch fan from going to see Eraserhead mi...

I finally picked up my copy this morning at Best Buy Canada but it was still a hassle. I checked their website when I got up and it said they were out of stock online but my local stores were showing it as being in stock for $21.99. When I arrived and checked the new release wall it wasn't there. I ...

I did not see it at Wal-Mart or Superstore. I was at CD PLus at Polo Park today and they had it with the transparent photo cover, for $25.99. (same price as HMV, but they had it with the blue cover). Personally, I am fine with either cover. I am more concerned with a lack of any booklet in the pack...

Yeah, I know how you feel. The only dvd I wanted that day and it's the one they screwed up on. Funny thing was, on the new release wall was Eraserhead. I didn't go to HMV but when I got home I called the Polo Park store and they said they had it in stock. I might order it from Amazon as there are so...
