Re: Part 11 - There's fire where you are going (SPOILERS)

Mr. Reindeer I haven’t got to writing the articles yet, but I believe that the Las Vegas driving footage and the Chantel/Hutch establishing shot of the Stratosphere were also captured by Jason S. and his crew. There are some aerial night time shots which I believe are stock (particularly for the int...

Re: Episode 7

For those who don’t know, that was someone’s home, and much of the furnishings (antler chandelier, wall tank) were actually part of the location, and remained there as recently as 2015! See https://www.twinpeaksblog.com/2018/07/01/a-visit-to-the-real-one-eyed-jacks/ for some wonderful photos. I’d l...

Re: Alternate scenes original broadcast vs. DVD

Fascinating thread! I missed the original ABC broadcast but picked up around the time Bravo started showing the series for a few years. I have them recorded on VHS and watched them many times in college. I wonder if I should bother reviewing those recordings? I'm somehow doubtful there will be much ...

Twin Peaks on Etsy.com

Aloha, Seeing that recent post of Twin Peaks art got me thinking. Has anyone else taken a look at Etsy.com for homemade Twin Peaks items? http://www.etsy.com/search_results.php?search_type=tag_title&search_query=twin+peaks Some rather interesting and fun items. Gosh, I would love that Lil painti...

"Happy Town" - like Twin Peaks?

Aloha all - Just read an interview on Sci-Fi Wire with Josh Appelbaum and Scott Rosenberg - the exec. producers for ABC's soon to be over Life on Mars (to which I really enjoyed ... visually speaking it had it's own vibe; of course there is always the original BBC version too). Below is a little exc...

Re: How Often Do You Have A Twin Peaks Marathon?

For several years (1994-1997), I held one annually - The Return the Black Lodge. We started around 12 noon on Saturday and ended with Fire Walk With Me around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. I held four of them (some coverage in an old issue of Wrapped in Plastic ). I decorated the viewing area to look like th...

Re: If you could go back in time...

Gosh - what a tough choice and a great question.

I'm torn between the day they shot the James/Evelyn stuff (really want to see if it actually happened or if it was some strange dream).

Or from FWWM, Fat Trout (where's gd my hot water...) or Hap's Diner (we don't have any...)

Re: Twin Peaks: TV Series Stills - Post Your Photos Here!

Laura - Mahalo for sharing that site (they have quite a collection ... the Battlestar stuff is frakkin' awesome too :D) I have never seen that Johnny Horne pic before. Love the stuffed alien. I'm guessing it was a publicity shot from the Pilot episode? I'm wondering where that set was filmed (assumi...

Re: David Speaks of the Origin of the Log Lady

What a great story ... but the more captivating thing for me ... the fluttering hand. I love when David uses the fluttering hand when he speaks. :D Mesmerizing.

Thanks for sharing ... hadn't seen that one yet.

Re: 1996 Twin Peaks Fan Fest Pics and More

Mahalo, Jerry! Great to hear from you. I still have about 8-10 more pics (and some other stuff) to scan/post. Hope to do it within the week. Of course, my pics are not even close to Charles' work. When I attended the Fest, it never crossed my mind to do what Charles did with intwinpeaks.com. I'm sti...

Re: 1996 Twin Peaks Fan Fest Pics and More

Mahalo ... I quite honestly couldn't remember the exact location. I remember a bridge and a lake bed nearby. Sadly I didn't take good notes as I think I was in awe of just being there in '96. I also remember seeing a video clip with Chris Isaak that I thought was shot in "Fat Trout." I rem...

1996 Twin Peaks Fan Fest Pics and More

Aloha all - Been awhile since my last post. I hope everyone is doing well. I've been uploading a lot of location pics from the 1996 Twin Peaks Fan Fest to my flickr site. Thought some of you may interested in seeing them (especially daytime photos from "Fat Trout Trailer Park" - the teleph...

Re: Library Music used at the RR or OEJ?

Bummahs! Thanks for the confirmation, Jer. Now I have even more admiration for Angelo's work. The stuff he did for RR and OEJ really was different. I was even thinking the "Fire in the Mill" music may have been a Library track. That track in particular sounded so ... 1980s television actio...

Re: Tardiness is ugly.

I second that! Come on, we waited nearly 17 years to have Twin Peaks on DVD (and it still isn't the complete version). And Dale was (is??) stuck in the Lodge for 25 years ... what's a few more months? I just wish that I could help you in some way. Words can't describe the true appreciation tha...

Library Music used at the RR or OEJ?

Aloha all - I've been playing around with music from Twin Peaks for the last few weeks. I've also been reading about and listening to "Production Music" (or Library Music ... particularly Bruton Music, Claude Larson, Keith Mansfield). I'm desperately seeking a track used in late 1970s / ea...
