Re: Tracy, I've always connected the Z on her lattes to the exaggerated Z on sZymon's coffee shop sign inside the Lucky 7 building. I would otherwise conclude from this that Mike is the one who sent Tracy (with or without her knowledge) to distract Sam while Cooper appeared inside the box... however...

Re: What's next? What chance do think there is we will see a season 4?

I can't be the only one who read, “Well, for right now, you could say I don’t want to talk about that,” as a not-so-veiled reference to a certain line of dialogue by a certain FBI agent regarding a certain something...

Re: Theories & Speculation

You know, other than Cole and Jeffries, Hawk seems like the type to remember the "unofficial version" of Twin Peaks (more grounded than most)... Cooper and Laura (or were they still Richard and Carrie at the end?) could sure use his help in this new, scary world... I thought that too. In ...

Re: Theories & Speculation

Judy is an extreme negative force. Judy, as Sarah, was inhabiting the Palmer house. When Carrie screams, the lights in the house go from an extreme positive state (all on) to an extreme negative one (all off). Judy has come alive.

That's my take. It could change tomorrow.

Re: Part 17 - The past dictates the future (SPOILERS)

^ What? No way! I'm gonna have to rewatch that, not that I don't believe you. The new series already references so many minutae from the original. Re: Part 17 - Watching with someone else for the first time, I was struck by how quickly the Freddie/Bob scene plays out. Cooper exclaims quite goofily, ...

Re: One year later - how are we feeling?

I've warmed up to it. Being able to watch all 18 hours at one's own pace I think releases the stress from those weeklong waits last year.

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

David Bowie was dying/died during filming. It's more than that. When Evil Cooper meets Jeffries, you can still see the radiator against the wall. It's superimposed over the shot of Jeffries as if to indicate Jeffries is not actually in the same room as Cooper. If I remember correctly, that superimp...

Re: General Discussion on the New Series (All Opinions Welcome)

In other words, if the Freddie/Fireman scene had been filmed, we'd have seen something like... "Green glove... department store." While Freddie would have heard everything he later told James.

Re: General Discussion on the New Series (All Opinions Welcome)

The Fireman seems to have the ability to communicate specific instructions without necessarily speaking them. Or rather, his coded language conveys a deeper meaning that only the direct recipient can fully understand.

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

I re-watched this last night with my girlfriend. Probably my favorite episode. So much happens in this one! One lingering question: why does Evil Cooper only see an apparition of Jeffries? The Convenience Store people protecting Jeffries maybe? Or Jeffries protecting himself? Really cool how that sc...

Re: Why so little of Grace Zabriskie?

I thought there was just enough of her. The scenes she was in I thought were creepy and memorable, and she never overstayed her welcome (although I'm still not 100% sold on the bar scene, that has more to do with the writing than her acting, which was superb as always).

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

As one of the former profoundly disappointed, I kind of like the Bob-Freddie scene now... there's also a build-up to it over the season that totally flew over my head. Lynch was hinting at it as early as the premiere, showing him at the Roadhouse with that slick green glove in plain sight.
