Re: Knowing what we know now, why in the world was Theresa Banks' murder a Blue Rose case?

I've had this problem as well, thinking it over ... and could also only come to the conclusion Gordon knew something we aren't told. Perhaps, as outlined in TSHOTP, the fact that the Pacific Northwest is a hotspot for these kind of things was enough. Maybe, because we're shown that Gordon communicat...

Re: FWWM sequels

According to Room to Dream, Ronnie Rocket was initially intended to be the first film on DKL’s three-picture deal with Ciby-2000. DKL ultimately decided to do FWWM instead, then Francis Bouygues passed away. They made LH as number 2, and then they tried to renege on the contract, leading to the law...

Re: 'Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier' Novel by Mark Frost 10/31 (SPOILERS)

I’m starting to like the idea that Dale “broke” reality/time, and that the universe is just constantly shifting and changing without rhyme or reason throughout the two books. As you note, the books are too all-over-the-place for a binary “two universes” approach to even begin to make sense of the i...

Re: FWWM sequels

I'm pretty sure this is a long-standing myth. While it's true that Engels has referred to 'multiple ideas for movies being teased out' I don't think the context was initially alluding to a trilogy, or multiple movies, just that there were ideas thrown out there and what ended up being made was FWWM....

Re: Theories & Speculation

One of the most dispiriting things about this video for me was the number of fans who claimed to have their minds blown by this series of Info-Wars style logical leaps. :) Yup! I'm glad to see a pushback on that vid here too ... I left my own displeasure known in that reddit thread of the video tha...

Re: 'Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier' Novel by Mark Frost 10/31 (SPOILERS)

I think so. She was mentioned in the Dossier as murdered ... and anything written in the Dossier, outside of Laura being referred to as murdered (by Briggs and Preston), is actually taking place in the new "official" timeline. So Teresa should still be dead, as well the saps Windom killed...

Re: 'Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier' Novel by Mark Frost 10/31 (SPOILERS)

And if Laura simply disappeared whatever happened to Maddy? Did she never come to Twin Peaks? Mark Frost said she isn't dead anymore in this Reddit AMA. Thanks for that. The alternate timeline also makes me wonder what happened to Teresa Banks, was she still murdered do you think? I think so. She w...

Re: Lynch to release memior 'Room To Dream: A Life In Art'.

Responding to a very old post from another thread , just to clear something up: I think it's worth noting that while IE doesn't have a credit for cinematographer, it does for additional lighting, which includes Peter Deming as first bill. Per Jay Aaseng: “Peter Deming helped on one or two scenes bu...

Re: 'Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier' Novel by Mark Frost 10/31 (SPOILERS)

Haha, glad to be of service! The alternate timeline stuff is for sure confusing. (Tammy at one point says that Cooper was in town for a few months, which would be longer than the period he spent there in the original timeline, but certainly not for a full year.) Maybe once Laura was out of the pict...

Mr. Reindeer wrote:Tammy calls Sarah Laura’s only living relative near the end of the book. So seemingly something else happened to Maddy between then and 2017, unless Tammy is mistaken.

Woah! Thank you for pointing that out. Perhaps she meant in the neighborhood of TP?

Re: The Random Twin Peaks Thread

I think there's a very conscious element at play. If it's not exactly about reclaiming the show, specifically, it's always struck me as very consciously about the dangers of wanting to dig back into the past. For the first time I see the potential meta-textual element of Cooper looking back at Laur...

I think there's a very conscious element at play. And since the show is so very meta - is it future or is it past, Lynch as two directors an...
