Re: Lesli Linka Glatter
Get a real buzz everytime I see Glatter's name pop up as directing a episode of TV. She really has done a what's what of great television. When you see what a great CV she now has its no surprise that she cut her teeth on a Lynch project. Just a shame that she never did anything in films.

Re: Twin Peaks Poll - First Time
None of those options actually fit me. I first watched the show about 2000 sort of time on Channel 5 of all places here in the UK. In a strange twist I ACTUALLY SAW THE FILM FIRST! Saw it on filmfour probably a year or two before I first watched the show. I got the first season of the show fo...

Re: Beyond Season 3?
It's hard to say without having any idea what the new show will be and especially how it will end/to what extent it will bring "closure", however much there can be with Twin Peaks. I'll take anything, obviously, but honestly, I'd rather see Lynch be reinvigorated by the experience of dire...

Lara Flynn Boyle putting paid to Cooper and Audrey romance?
When listening to a discussion on Twin Peaks today, they mentioned that KM and Boyle were dating during the filming of season 2. And because of this it was suggested that a purposed romance between Cooper and Audrey didn't happen because Boyle objected to it? Does anyone know anything about this? If...

Re: Eric DaRe (Leo Johnson)
Yeah, what a trouper - he spent 22 episodes either drooling or grunting! No wonder he stepped up to the plate so well when lynch actually gave him something to do in the film. In general, I think da re is a good example of someone turning in a good performance within a limited range but I'm not ent...

Re: Episode 1
I love this episode. While the pilot is filmed by a master, and compiled like a painter applies paint, the second episode has the confidence of a team of smart writers, directors, creators kicking off a show that they have mapped out for a seven episode stint. Here they are making a very polished t...

Re: Episode 1
I really enjoy watching this episode; everything is still so fresh and it's fascinating to see the writers and actors adapt what by all rights should have been one-off experimental "pilot" into something ongoing. Watching this episode is like catching a whiff of when we first fell in love...

Re: The Pilot
I just watched the pilot for the first time in close to six months. That doesn't seem like a lot but considering all the work I did on the videos in between, it really feels like a long time. So many thoughts occurred to me as I watched this that I started to worry I would forget them before the ep...

Got this as a Christmas gift and it looks great. Am going to read it soon. Should give me some good insight and some ideas too.
