Re: Confess your Twin Peaks sins
Do you mean Badalamenti's instrumentals are cheesy -- or do you mean the lyrics are cheesy? I know Lynch wants the lyrics to be cheesy -- very much in the teenager-in-love-and-the-world's-going-to-end vein.

Re: Watching Season 3 Around the World
So I have between now (Friday) and Sunday night to figure out how to watch "Twin Peaks" on Showtime. (I'm in the US.) I might just have to subscribe to Showtime through Apple TV. Watch all 18 episodes and then cancel my subscription. Can you do that?

Re: Confess your Twin Peaks sins
Fire Walk With Me is one flaw away from being a masterpiece, and that flaw is, in my opinion, gratuitous nudity. I agree about the nudity: after watching the TV series it was shocking for me to see Laura in the nude . . . and I felt so sorry for her. I even felt sorry for Sheryl Lee for doing those...

Two Recent National Public Radio Segments about Twin Peaks
In the past two days National Public Radio has aired two segments about Twin Peaks' return (I don't think there are any spoilers) -- one about Angelo Badalamenti and the music of Twin Peaks; and one about Lynch himself and Twin Peaks. Here are the links: http://www.npr.org/2017/05/19/529081041/25-ye...

Re: Confess your Twin Peaks sins
Uh, when the original series aired (I was in my 20s at the time), I only watched one episode, even though I claimed to like David Lynch's work. I did instantly buy the soundtrack and have listened to it ever since. (Since then I've watched the entire series once all the way through, and a second tim...

“I'll see you again in 25 years” (SPOILERS)
As big a Twin Peaks fan as I am, if the new series doesn't start the very first scene with a flashback to the original series of Laura Palmer saying “I'll see you again in 25 years," I will be a tad let down. I know, 2017 is not exactly 25 years later, but could the writers have possible planne...

Small-Town Bar Inspires My Crappy Twin Peaks Video
Every time I pass by a local small-town bar called Robert's it reminds me of Twin Peaks for some reason -- or David Lynch in general. It just looks like a place he would have used as a setting for a scene in one of his creations. So I made this video to get it out of my system. (There's nothing to t...
