Re: Ronette and American Girl
Also worth noting -- Dale and "Carrie" enter TP by driving over "Ronette's bridge," correct? The bridge they drove over is about a block from where Richard ran over the kid (TR) and where Gerard menaced Laura and Leland (FWWM). Going the other direction takes you to Reinig Road,...

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)
Lord! 82 pages and I'm finally through them all! I have several take-aways from the finale, which I loved. First- Is 20+ years in the Lodge the new Nicorette/Nicotine Patch? You will note that post-Naido Diane doesn't light up once. Tulpa-Diane would have gone through a carton during a 430-mile road...

Re: POLL: EVERYONE'S A TULPA! (S3E16 spoilers)
Where's Jeff Foxworthy? "If you're seeded from a gold ball, you might be a tulpa." "If your arm goes numb while with a hooker, just before you disappear into the Lodge, you might be a tulpa." "If a text message turns you into the Manchurian Candidate, you might just be a tul...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
Small venues that have developed a reputation for having good bands or for helping to get good bands started often have no trouble pulling in big bands. That people object to this just shows they've never gone to one of these venues before. When I lived in San Diego a small place called the Casbah ...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
-Here's a thought: does the new roadhouse make ANY sense whatsoever in the context of Twin Peaks? It's in a small mountain town, packed with young people, AND national acts. Dream logic obviously factors in a bit, but maybe it factors in A LOT here. For a town of 51,000 people it absolutely makes s...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
What do we make of the guy who dispatched Hutch and Chantal? Was that "random" and just an exercise in subverting expectations? Felt like maybe more, but I'm at a total loss. It struck me as a random encounter involving road rage. And Dougie Jones escapes another attempt on his life. I di...

Wow, what a satisfying episode! I was fist pumping the air when Coop came back- "Finally!"
And once again, Candie is such a joy. And Audrey's Dance! And the Audrey tease at the end! Ah, I can't wait for the rewatch.
It felt like this episode gave more payoffs than mysteries, for once.

Re: Part 14 - We are like the dreamer (SPOILERS)
It was "Elk's Point #9 Bar". I thought it was in Twin Peaks, and I don't think there was anything that suggested it was somewhere else. Sarah was walking there. Why would she walk to a different town to have a drink if she can have a drink in Twin Peaks? Perhaps to hide a drinking problem...

.) On a rewatch of Piledriver Handed Freddie's story, I wonder if his epiphany that he should be doing more with his life was planted by the Fireman, or was he chosen by the Fireman because of his epiphany? .) Chad is complaining that he's in a nuthouse... shortly before this week's Roadhouse girls ...
