If it doesn't happen I don't know how I am going to survive.

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

Wow. What a brilliant episode. What Lynch/Frost are doing is so incredible it really goes beyond television. They are using television as a transcendental and alchemical vehicle to talk about much more profound questions of consciousness, memory, existence, and our own direct psychological experienc...

Re: POLL: The Nature of Audrey's Situation (Spoilers)

Ok. This might be a long shot but what if audrey was in a coma but is not any longer and is experiencing a kind of identity crisis because while she was in her coma 25 years ago, somehow the spirit of LAURA managed to escape the black lodge and then enter and inhabit her body, in a kind of parallel ...

Re: Dutchman I just read that the "Flying Dutchman" is a legendary ghost ship that can't find a port and is doomed to sail forever, has been reported many times, etc.. Seems like this most likely supernatural Dutchman place could have something to do with being stuck somewhere... Could ju...

Re: Part 11 - There's fire where you are going (SPOILERS)

I didn't see the piano player listed in the credits. Did anyone figure out who he is? Curious. He's playing a new Badalamenti composition, though, not "sycamore trees" Dougie seems to be waking up a bit, though. It was really interesting that Mike beckoned him to come towards that cafe...w...

I think their loyalty is mainly motivated by fear. They don't want to get murdered.

Re: Part 8 - Gotta light? (SPOILERS)

I disagree, seems like epynomous is bringing up some very good points here. The idea of Phillip Jeffries and cooper as "sheaths" for bob, or whatever kind of evil energy he represents, to inhabit makes sense. I wonder, though, about Briggs. Was he inhabited? Or was he involved in some diff...

Unless they were to do a privately funded new version as an film installation at the Venice Bienalle or Documenta or some kind of art context where there is no limit whatsoever. Like Matthew Barney's Cremaster series, for example. Something even weirder.

Re: Part 8 - Gotta light? (SPOILERS)

One of the most incredible cinematic experiences I've ever had. Reminiscent of the star gate scene in 2001, definite resonances with Jordan belson and Stan brakhage. Beautiful.

Bob is, in a sense, an atomic Bezoar.

Maybe the bug has entered into Sarah Palmer's mouth?

Also...janie-E Jones...isn't there a song by the Clash called "Janie Jones"? I think the lyrics even mention something about a "government man". It would be great if you would check these out and let us know for sure! "Janie Jones" He's in love with rock'n'roll woaahh ...

Re: Part 7 - There's a body all right (SPOILERS)

My wife noticed that cooper's room in the great Northern is 315 (= 9) which is the same as bad Coop's cell number in South Dakota: 27 (also equals 9). Possible coincidence or maybe a reference to 9 in numerology which is the number of "wisdom and initiation...holding the path towards mystical k...

Re: Part 7 - There's a body all right (SPOILERS)

So now that evil coop has been busted out of jail, I'm wondering what you think his next moves might be? Where is he headed? Buenos Aires so he can connect with Phillip Jefferies and (not) talk to him about Judy? Or back to twin peaks?

I loved Gordon's whistling. Was he whistling something from the Wizard of Oz? Sounded strangely familiar.
I'm pretty sure it was a Strauss Waltz. Same one used by Kubrick during the moon scene in 2001.
