Re: Part 17 - The past dictates the future (SPOILERS)
Watching a third time. Coop's note to Cole as read by Bushnell Mullins says "It's 2:53 in Las Vegas..." But then after all the action at the TP sheriff's station, they show the clock and it continually resets to 2:53. Vegas and TP are in the same time zone, so it seems no time elapsed, fur...

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)
Noticed this on first viewing but didn't make a connection til the second: At the very end the electricity goes out in the Palmer house. Then after the credits, the usual Lynch/Frost slate is silent instead of making the electricity noise.
I read that as it's over for good. No season 4.

Re: Part 17 - The past dictates the future (SPOILERS)
The repeated Fire Walk With Me scene broke my heart all over again, but even harder if possible. How the hell did Lynch do the young Laura following coop scenes? CGI? Fucking insane. I'm pretty sure in the woods is new footage with Sheryl Lee in a wig dressed as young Laura. It looked to me like Sh...

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)
So that happened! I'm pretty much at as much a loss as all of you, but here's my take. The main thing I noticed was that when Coop left the motel he went to a completely different car than the one he arrived in with Diane. The car he arrived in was from the '60s or something, and it was parked in fr...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but when Diane receives the ":-) ALL" message in the bar the time on her phone shows 16:31, and later in the hotel room she looks again, and it shows 15:50. What do you think this means? Yes, it’s been mentioned a lot earlier in the thread, and i...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
And what do we make of Mr. C's comment about him being only 25 years older than Richard? Is he only counting his "years on Earth"? I don't see an issue with this, Richard seems to be around 25 years old, so if we assume Mr. C raped Audrey right before disappearing, the timeline makes sens...

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)
Is anyone else getting more and more worried about Big Ed as the hours pass? If Ed Hurley were to have dictated his deepest fantasy, his heart's truest desire; it would not have played out any differently. He loves Nadine. It's a paternalistic love, not in the least romantic, but he never wanted to...

Is it just me, or does DoppelCoop look less evil? I remember his jaw/jowls being more filled out and square in the earlier parts, but lately I've noticed his face is slimmer and more "real Cooper"-like. Similarly, in part 15 particularly, DougieCoop looks a bit more menacing, especially af...

Re: Part 12 - Let's rock (SPOILERS)
I too thought the sound coming from Sarah's kitchen was the kid from the grocery store who'd said he'd deliver her stuff. Didn't occur to me that Sarah might be inhabited by BOB! There were a lot of odd things in that Audrey scene, but the oddest to me was Charlie's use of a rotary phone. I mean, no...

Re: Part 11 - There's fire where you are going (SPOILERS)
On his latest interview with KEXP, Dean Hurley pointed out that the Shawn Colvin cover is from the same Doc Pomus tribute album as Lou Reed's cover of "This Magic Moment," which DKL of course used in Lost Highway . Also, not that this was believable to begin with, but it clears up that th...

Re: Part 11 - There's fire where you are going (SPOILERS)
So, the implication that the woman in the apartment who talks to Becky is Lauren Tewes of Love Boat fame sent me scurrying to her imdb page, which I'm sorry to report doesn't mention Twin Peaks: the Return as one of her acting credits. And it aImost certainly would if this was actually her. Is the ...

What did DougieCoop say at the very end of the episode? I watched it back three times, but couldn't make it out. Thanks! I don't remember the last thing he said. He was mumbling (eating pie) when he said "friends", so that might be it. Yes, it was him saying back "friends" after...
