Re: 'Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier' Novel by Mark Frost 10/31
It's interesting to read these pages because Frost clearly demonstrates a surprising knack for remembering a lot of details from the latter half of Season 2, like Leo's shock collar, birthday cake crumbs in his hair, etc. It just makes it even more odd that he would forget things like Ed and Nadine...

Re: List of all the unsolved mysteries (SPOILERS)
Wasn't that both the white lodge AND the black lodge which occupied the same space? It doesn't seem like it. Windom Earle's description of the White Lodge doesn't sound anything like the Black Lodge, and he says they are different places: "Gentle fawns gamboled there amidst happy, laughing spi...

Re: Mark Frost's Contributions to TP:TR (Speculation)
Has it been established whether Frost spent much time on the set and if he was involved in the editing process at all? Well, I've seen/read several interviews/panels in which the actors mention Mark Frost being on set, and helping them out with the material. There's a Matt Lillard interview that st...

Re: Richard and Linda, Lynch's Masterstroke (SPOILERS)
" Two birds, one stone" was how Cooper had apparently described his goals to Cole at some point off-screen during the events of the original series. From my reading, the "two birds" are either saving Laura Palmer or solving her mystery, and defeating the enigmatic Judy at the ce...

Re: Lost Highway set in the same world as Twin Peaks?
well...to be fair, here's a better DL quote that relates MD to TP:
David Lynch: "...[Mulholland Dr.] was gonna be kind of a spin-off of Twin Peaks, but it didn`t go anywhere."

Re: Lost Highway set in the same world as Twin Peaks?
mark frost has stated that what became "mulholland dr." was originally an idea for a "twin peaks" sequel: Mark Frost: "[Mulholland Dr.] started as a conversation David and I were having about a sequel to Twin Peaks. We wanted to take the Audrey Horn character, played by Cher...

Re: Last Film You Watched
honestly, this is what i feel about the characters in the film, all of them. to me this was a bad and ugly movie. i don't remember thinking the characters themselves in "requiem for a dream" were soulless, but the film as a whole, mostly due to the direction and editing, felt intolerably ...

Re: How would you rank David Lynch's films?
Mulholland Drive Twin Peaks - Fire Walk With Me Blue Velvet Dune Wild at Heart The Elephant Man Straight Story Eraserhead Lost Highway INLAND EMPIRE sort of pointless for me --most of DL films rank about the same. only lost highway and INLAND EMPIRE seem to be of inferior quality. as for dune...well...

Drawer Pull
the only episode of Twin Peaks that i saw when it originally aired was the "drawer pull" episode. it was on a saturday in february, i believe. and...i thought it was absolutely ridiculous. however, several days later, i couldn't stop thinking about it, and i wanted to see more. it was haun...

Good post, EZamor. And welcome! What seems a bit strange to me is the fact that Leland met Bob - or rather: Robertson - in the early 60s but didn't kill anyone until 1988. Even his abuse of Laura happened the last 5 years. Was he an evil and scheming kid? Did he help Ben Horne scam money? (Financia...
